There confusing part when we first got the machine is that spreadsheet looking decal to the right of the knobs. The way you explained in your video was how it was explained to me also.

Well the spread sheep is correct for amperage which there is a way to gauge that with a multi meter I might show in the future but they could have better ways of explaining it supplied with the machine!

Thanks for the video. We have had the Ranger 225 for a year or more and the settings were tricky at first. This would be a good explanation for someone who just started using this welder.

I agree with all your settings. Pretty good. I have a Lincoln and that's where I set mines, more or less. Like you said they all burn a little hotter or colder. But I'm impressed with my welder. Really nice.

That’s good to hear! They are great machines! And I plan to do plenty of projects on my channel with mine! If you ever have any questions or would like me to do a video on anything don’t forget to ask, I’ll explain anything I can to help!

Ok cool. I used to weld years ago. I did mig Tig fluxcored stick plasma and oxy acetylene welding. I love it. I'm an API inspector and cwi now and teach welding on the side.

That’s cool I just started a tig series on this channel and even though it’s scratch start being away from welding for most of a year and going from digital to the analog this machine has is a learning experience. But this machine tig welds pretty good once you get used to it! It welds better than I can for sure

Hi can I conect mig on this machine ?
@adamswelding5052
@adamswelding5052 4 года назад
Yes you can but you would need a inline wire feeder box, or you could just run a regular mig machine off of the 220v plug in on the machine

What about 3/32 on 6010 amp 40 ?
@adamswelding5052
@adamswelding5052 3 года назад
Talking about 3/32” welding rods? The lowest this machine will stabilize a arc for stick welding is about 70 amps, I’ve never used any 3/32 6010 welding rods so I can’t really recommend a amperage but that Is something I could do a video on in the future, if you wanted
