Setting gear mesh is very simple, but there are a few key steps to help make sure it's set correctly. It's also extremely important to make sure your mesh doesn't move during a race. www.mugenracing.com www.thedrakeracing.com
Props leaving the snapping of the tip in your video.Just shows the pros still do it from time to time!Great information Adam I actually have struggled with this in the past.
Great tips, this is the only way I have found that I get consistent mesh/results. I also agree with above comment that it was cool to see you break that tool, holy crap you are human after all🤘🏻🤣
Definition of greatness is “to inspire the people next to you.” When you inspire someone, they'll inspire someone else, and the cycle of greatness continues indefinitely… Thank you DRAKE 🏎️💨 🤝
Hey mate I’ve got a meshing issue, I’ve checked the meshing and that’s all good but the main gear is showing signs of the engine/ clutch drive being too far forward. There is minimal movement in the clutch, I even forcefully moved it back in but it still seems like the whole engine needs to go rearward 2-3mm. Thoughts?
Nice video as always! But actually you said it in a blink of an eye how to set up the mesh pretty fast. Pull a small strip of paper trough the gears, it has to make a nice pattern but once the paper gets damaged, it's to tight....
Okay thanks. I’m trying a associated buggy with a tekno clutch on my engine and the clutch bell is lined up halfway on the spur gear. mesh and car rolling feels great just haven’t drove it yet
