Patrick from J&P Cycles shows you how to set the "sag" on your motorcycle suspension. The demonstration is done on a 2007 Road Glide, but it will be the same basic adjustment on most cruiser based models. Make sure your shocks are working for you and get them set up correctly!

Didn't really understand the lifting and the number 13 there. Did the bike go from 12 to 13? Is there a separate adjustment for this aspect of setting sag (I assume not)? Thanks.

Is it necessary to calculate the saddlebags ? They can add some weight.

I've followed the information in this and other videos, but my suspension is still bone jarring when I hit a bump. I have 444-4062 shocks. Is there any other issues to look for that might be causing this? 2014 Sportster.

Does it matter that his full weight isn't on the bike? His feet are still on the ground - or is that close enough? Thx

Why can't all suspension be hand adjustable considering it's something that has to be adjusted anytime you change the weight of the bike...

Do you have to do this with the burly slammers when you install them messing with the sag or just use the shock tool to adjust it?

Travis Frazier you should set the sag on them when you install them for the best results when riding. You would use the shock too to make the adjustment.

Without his full weight on the bike your reading is wrong surely?? I was taught that sag was from fully unloaded to rider fully on pegs. Anything else is going to give poor readings
