How To Set Parental Controls Hisense Android TV 

How to block apps is what we need, specially RU-vid because el filter of RU-vid is not always working thanks

Can I block RU-vid for certain hours like bedtime hours or homework times? Please help. Thanks

How can we block specific apps on the tv

My daily struggle as a parent is to try to prevent my kids from harmful content.... I CANNOT REMOVE IT... my kids even with settings password manage to reinstall RU-vid and continue to watch... I am frustrated... the only thing that works is to delete all google play apps and voice command and that allowed me to buy few hours that's it...then it happens again *~*

So what does it actually block? I put a block to start at 8 pm and last till 12 pm but it does nothing. They can still watch apps

I found Parental Controls in the Channel menu item inside of settings. for Hisense 40-Inch 40H5500F Class H55 Series Android Smart TV with Voice Remote (2020 Model) It took 2.5 days for Hisense to NOT find it, but I finally did.

Best thing to do is buy a smart power surge adapter and set a time when to power off. Kinda like powering off your Christmas tree at a certain time. Kids will have no choice but wait for you to come back or wake up to turn it back on for them.

Why can't apps be blocked in this section? I have seen it before with shield but not our new Hisense tv.

How do you unblock. I cannot upload crave because parental block. And I can't how to unblock

IMPOSSIBLE TO BLOCK ANYTHING WITH HiSense. Nope even the BUILT IN BROWSER has NO options for parental controls, you can look at EVERYTHING without controls. You can block "Channels" (its Android YOU HAVE NONE WO "CABLE"), You can Block "INPUTS" (have a DVD player!?) The WHOLE input.... You CANNOT remove Browser ("SrafHiBrower") you can disable and re-enable anytime NOT blocked, You CANNOT stop your kids from DOWNLOADING ANY APP they want or searching for ANYTHING. WHAT A JOKE. Also, Best Buy allows 15 DAYS for returns on TV's.... Don't buy ANY TV's until December 11th, so you can still return it the 26th.... Call HiSense ... same story and they are Happy to keep lying in that they have "Parental Controls" GARBAGE

I have all the options shown and my TV screen looks just like that, but parental controls is missing. Is there something needed for that to appear? HiSense 2K ATV4

So it appears that google doesn’t want you to be able to block apps because they might lose money from it… ? That’s what my take is… Because I want to block RU-vid because literally zero things good Have ever come out of RU-vid, for kids… I tried to disable RU-vid and remove it but somehow my five-year-old was even able to get it back onto the TV… There is no option to block an app which is infuriating

It does not make sense! Hisense smart tv model 55A6H can't block RU-vid! Only TV channels and HDMI, but not app like RU-vid as our remote controller have a RU-vid, Netflix, and prime video button on it, can't block or restrict those in time schedule! Their Parental control system is a joke! It's supposed to be a basic, a common sense features, but they don't have the option available!
