This is how I set-up dubia roach colonies. Please leave questions and comments and I will reply. I will be posting more videos about dubia roaches and red runners also. Good Luck!
I take round plastic containers and cut a section out so they can get in to the food and water. It holds lots of food and water and the babies can easily get in and out and it’s easy to clean
For food and drink put it in small plastic containers and sand down or scratch with a knife the inside and out of container and then they will be able to climb in and out of them easily
I guess you mean the link for the dubia starter colonies I sell? Here it is... www.ebay.com/itm/302628140769?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
i have found my dubia to be ok in 60 degree weather. Evey month i will load it with oranges and crank the heat up to promote breeding than i take the heat off. Saves on energy and have never had any issues
It is very unscientific! I just pour enough in to cover the bottom of whatever container I am using and then add water. Sometimes, if it is too watery, I simply pour in a few more crystals. You will know if you need to add more water or crystals in less than 20 min!
Yes, here is the link to my ebay dubia post. I haven't written it in the description yet but I will be including buffalo beetles (cleaning crew) with every order of dubias. www.ebay.com/itm/302666439537?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Thank you!
For water and food dishea I use plastic Tupperware containers that I cut a hole into the front of it for an entrance. I also burn the sides of the cut out hole with a lighter just so the plastic isn’t sharp. I hope this helped!
