Thank you soo Much....I've struggled with trying to get my Lower Thirds to operate on Proclaim. Today you have explained it soo easily and in detail. I had part of it but it wouldn't connect to my streaming system at church. I now have the answers I've been searching for. Thank you again.
Thank you. Pretty helpful. I've been trying to figure why my lower thirds with a nice background that should be a solid have been faded out and showing the video behind them. I gave up and have just been showing plain white text on my lower thirds screen. We have Proclaim running through an ATEM Television Studio device with Decklink Duo and OBS to send to RU-vid. It has frustrated me no end because this is outside my tech knowledge limits. I think you've given me some good direction to try and make changes to our set up.
Hi it sounds like you may be using the wrong type of setting for your key. You are probably using a luminance (brightness or black /grey/ white) key instead of a chroma (color) key. I believe this setting would be in your ATEM software under key tab to the right. Not sure it has been a while, but if you are seeing the video in areas of the lettering that should be black that is likely the case.
Yes that is exactly right. Your computer will recognize each as a monitor and you set up your monitors in proclaim as described in the video. (Each of these signals is also split on their own HDMI splitters because the main one goes to two projectors as well, and the lower third one goes to its own monitor as well as the ATEM mini, but you get the id.
Thanks for you video. Can you explain your wire setup from computer to monitors/Atem and or splinters ? I am doing a new setup using proclaim on 1 computer/1 monitor what additional equipment does our church need ? BTSDA
Hi - basically I have a computer with a video card that has at least 3 hdmi outs. So I use these to power the 3 monitors in the studio. Left is setup for Proclaim Main auditorum feed, Center is the Proclaim Control panel or main computer feed, Right I have my Prolcaim lower third or Keyed source screen. Once that is set up. I use two HDMI splitters. One splitter for the hdmi feed to the left monitor . Off the splitter I send one feed back to monitor and the other feed to our sanctuary. (We actual have two projectors with RCA inputs in sancturary so This hdmi is fed to a HDMI to RCA converter and the fed into a RCA distributor and then connected to each of the monitors with long Cat5 cables with RCA adapters on each end) Then for my next HDMI splitter I use that for my right monitor feed. One hdmi goes back to the monitor so I can see my keyed source. The other goes to the HDMI mini. We have it as Input 4 with the other cameras taking up input 1-3. Hope taht helps. @@ken10t

Hi, sorry but I no longer have that lower third. However if I remember correctly it was made fairly easily by doing a google search for lower thirds. I believe it had a white background that I just erased in photo shop and then put a 3 angels logo on top that I also found on google. Wish you the best.
