Hello, very informative and helpful video. There is a wireless way of transferring data from one iPad or iPhone to another, you just need that same device you’re going to transfer data from in order to do the Quickstart thing, then it should say transfer data from this iPad or iPhone depending on what you’re setting up. You don’t need any cables at all with this method. Would also save you having to use iCloud for the data transfer.
@@samantj0d488 I'm poor, but saved up for a tablet or laptop to do art & writing on. I was lucky that I started looking on 4/27, just in time for the pre-order.
Very useful video! Bought my first ipad pro, very confuse how to start my settings. I live in different country and bought the ipad here. I'm planning to move to my country next year. So, my question is which country should i select and which phone number (local no. Or my home country no.) should i give for recieving the code.? It would be very helpful if anyone could reply me. Thanks
So question, I just the 12.9 lte wifi and it didn’t come with a SIM card. The internet is shitty af. Do they come with one when you buy it? I am paying for a line on it
Hi all, maybe someone can help me with a simple question. If I’m setting up my wife’s new iPad Pro using direct transfer mode from an Air running iOS 12.5 (which it is, fully up to date) do I actually need to be running 14+ instead? At one place in the directions it says 12+ but in another place the transfer fails and says the Air must be running 14+. It would be nice if Apple could be consistent. Needing to have 14 on an older Pad seems kind of silly, sort of defeats the whole direct setup method for most folks.. Thanx, Tucker
Matt, thanks. Learn to control your distracting hand gestures. Also, you demoed the set up with an iPhone, but I don't have one, just an old iPad and an old iMac. You didn't show how to do set up with wither another iPad or an Apple computer!
Thanks for this video! I haven't had an Apple product since literally their first Macintosh in the 80s when my father bought us one. I finally get my 1st IPad Pro 12.9 M1 tomorrow & I'm _so_ excited!
@@MattTalkTech Hey! I own a M1 iPad with Celular and I have question and I hope you answer it 😅 My question is if you have Celular model on it can you put like any carrier and get 5G?
Currently I have an iPhone 13 Pro. If I buy an IPad is it recommend that I transfer everything from my phone to my ipad so that everything on my phone is on my iPad.
Of course if your really old iPad is stuck on iOS 9.3.5 you can't mate it with the new iPad Pro so then you have to get a USBA - USBC cable to connect it to your older MacbookPro that doesn't have USBC ports.
Thanks a lot it was a long lime that I didn't use apple products and I just bought an iPad mainly for drawing proposition instead using a lot of paper.
