We show you how to pop it up and we see if this product is worth buying.
Anyone who follows the channel will know that we enjoy family camping and as a gazebo is as close as you can get to a garden tent, we figured we would test this product and let you know if it is an item worth purchasing.
As with all our product testing, we do not look at instructions.
So is it easy to put up a pop up gazebo? Well if we can do it, then anyone can!
We have to be honest and we were actually amazed how easy this was to put up. This actual model does come with sides, which pending your preference are optional to connect i.e. you can just have it up with the roof as an ideal parasol replacement.
But we do want to have something that we can use in the garden all year around and as the typical end of Summer English weather was looming, we show you how we connected all the sides as well.
Was it easy to assemble - Yes!
How long to put up - Total assembly time was approx. 10 minutes, which considering we never read any instructions is quite impressive.
Space - This model is 3m x 3m and when assembled is surprisingly big.
This model is fully waterproof, so it is ideal to use all year around. We chose the grey model but it also comes in a black, for those that fancy a different colour. W did look at reviews on this product prior to obtaining and it appears that some did say it was not waterproof, but ours has been up through several downpours and we have had no issues.
For ourselves, we will be using this as an outdoor office and a place to entertain guests during the colder winter evenings.
You will see it is spacious enough to easily fit our 9 seater garden furniture set and the fact that we do not have to keep fetching cushions in and out is a massive plus.
Our kids enjoyed it as it actually had enough room to also fit their play mates in and allowed them to actually play outside and inside at the same time, and stopped them from cluttering up our home floors with all their toys.
We did pitch it in a reasonably sheltered area, so unsure how it would cope in string winds, so we are unable to verify how good it would be in strong gales on an open field?
So when all assembled and tested, how did we actually find this item?
We have to say, we are really pleased with it. There are many different pop up gazebos on the market, but we did find that with this item did exactly what we wanted. Has kept our furniture dry and has given us a great space outside that we can use all year around.
