Super helpful! I find it quite simple to set up a rabbit enclosure, as long as you have a good X-pen, a hidey house, litter box, water bowl, hay rack, toys, ect. :)

Just one piece of advise. It's always best to give your bun a hidey house that has at least 2 entrances. Because rabbits are prey animals they enjoy a hidey house with at least 2 entrances so they feel they have an escape route if they were ever to encounter a predator(in the wild). Just trying to help :)

This is so true, the hidey house with one entrance I bought from common pet store rabbit is not interested at all

@@kiki-wang, Yes. Rabbits are much more interested in multi-entranced hidey houses than single-entranced hidey houses. (Speaking from experience as well)

i have to admit that i, too, believed that rabbits were to be housed in cages-that is until i did research about rabbit care and came across several sites that said that cages were bad for buns. i bought a bunch of c&c grids and built a pen for my little one and got him a hidey, large litter box and several toys so when he came home he was comfortable. i won’t forget the first night home he was doing mad zoomies and i thought that if he had a tiny cage he wouldn’t have the space to run around in excitement! the biggest mistake i made was getting him a plastic bowl lol. first day and he knew he could toss it :’)

I took the door off of the "cage" and put a towel over it, carpet cut to fit and a blanket on the bottom. They use it as a hidy house. I only give them cardboard boxes to play with when I'm not trying to sleep....chew chew chew 🐰

open cat litter boxes are the best. Pine pellets are awesome!

I'm using fiberhennep (also used for goats, horses etc.) It's not as expensive if you buy some bigger bags, save to eat a little and soaks up lots of water and smell, and it's easy for composting

@@anneliekonink oh interesting! I haven't heard of that before, I'll look into it thanks :) is it basically hemp fiber pellets? sounds like it might have a similar use to the pine pellets (they use them for livestock bedding as well)

Hlo bunny lady, my bunny is facing wet tail issues can u plz tell me what to do, there is no vet nearby.

Rabbits don't get wet tail disease like hamsters. If your rabbit has a wet tail area it NEEDS to see a vet because it could be diet related, or other health related. Its not normal and is quite dangerous to remain wet. Wet fur, if it gets cold or drafty, can give secondary infections Iike pneumonia. Increase fiber in its diet for now until you can have it looked at by a vet but I assure you it can a pretty serious issue.

Hi Bunny lovers/parents! I am a new bunny parent to a sweet lil doe. I call her Toffee. I wanted to understand, why does she often climb upto my chest while I am just resting or doing something else, and starts digging and biting onto the t-shirt. She keeps repeating even if I put her down back on the bed. Can anyone help decode what she is trying to tell/do/express?
