They really make a huge difference. The biggest benefit is we can shoot a wedding of our dreams for almost little to no money invested. That is the biggest one

that is a great start. We recommend that for just about any photographer. A 50mm is a good starting lens as it covers just about anything. What kind of DSLR do you have?

@Jessalyn Tester that is awesome! I don't have a degree in photography so my recommendation is to get out there and start shooting. Hire a mentor and attend conferences. Invest in quality gear ... you don't need the most expensive but using carp gear can be frustrating.

Tor that is a great question. In your case since you are a social media marketer, I would actually advise something called a branding shoot. This is where we do a "styled shoot" for your brand. A photographer comes in and takes pictures of you that reflect your brand. Maybe it is dealing with your ideal client or at the computer doing work. This gives you professional images you can use on instagram or for blog posts. in fact we offer services like this and can usually get 300-400 images done and they can be your instagram posts for almost a full year.
