Thank you, Meredith! This has been very helpful relative to the 50th Anniversary my brothers and I are planning for our parents. We are surprising them with a renewing of their vows. I like the trend where the guests and setup are in a circle. Love it 💜
We were pretty traditional, but a few things that were different: I did a first look with my dad and that was so touching. My father in law got ordained and was our officiant so I wanted to do something special for the moms since my dad got to walk me and his dad got to marry us. So during the ceremony, we each got down on our knees in front of eachother’s moms and thanked them for bringing our love into this world and promised to take care of them.

I find it really interesting that weddings are getting smaller, but the monetary outlay is remaining the same. Yeah!!! True colors - I am so happy to hear that. When I see photos from my friends and family member weddings and all the photos are so blown out, it makes me cringe.
I love the idea of smaller weddings (3) with statement wedding cakes (6)! I liked the look of our traditional white basket-weave cake (18 years ago) but if I were getting married this year, I would have considered a fun cake or one that was a 'work of art.' Very informative video for anyone getting married in the next few years!
Stacey thank you so much. Some of these trends we really like but some of them will only be around for this year and will be gone by next year. We love the smaller wedding list trend right now. We find our brides are less stressed and have alot more fun
Rachel I am so glad you liked it... would you possibly have any information or tips for brides as far as their complexion. The reason I ask is that we get a lot of questions about different facial treatments like botox, facial masks and how they will affect the way they look for their weeding pictures. Great video! Question about music: are you finding now, or anticipating more DIY music set ups? I remember one wedding in particular I went to where a DJ was hired (for a pretty penny I’m sure) and all he did was play an iTunes playlist and sit around on his phone and have drinks. Heck, a bride and groom can do that. Have you seen this happen before and are couples taking the music into their own hands more and more?
Faith 2 Achieve that is such a good question. We do not see the diy music scene any time soon. The dj can really set the mood and directs the timeline during the reception. You saw a really bad dj. We have seen them to believe me. Thank you so much for the comment
We shoot only between 15-20 weddings per year. We could shoot more but we take so much time with our brides that we can only do that much and keep our quality up. Thank you for the question
Andrea Eppolito I have a RU-vid video on this coming for 2020. Overall I think we will see more textures used in unique ways and residential elements used at receptions like wallpaper, intimate seat groupings, and lights. What are your thoughts 😀
