when u set up as new iPad like u did here, does all ur photos from other device go into the iPad? Or is it completely fresh with no photos or anything?

Well if you want to transfer everything from iCloud and you have iCloud you'll select restore from iCloud backup or if you want to transfer everything from your old iMac or any other computer you'll select restore from Mac or PC or if you want transfer everything from your old iPad you'll select transfer directly from iPad or if you want to transfer everything from your old Samsung or any other Android devices you'll select move data from old Android or if this is your 1st ever iPad for you or someone else you'll select don't transfer apps and data and it'll be brand new hope this helps answer your question. 😊

It's Never This simple. The main problems arrive due to downloading your data. If you have had a iPad before AND THE SPAGHETTI JUNCTION OF VERIFICATION. If you want to pass your old iPad to your younger sister....you are in for a world of hurt.. Over the years they have been working with aspirin to produce more and more headaches.😊

Its not that hard. If you're giving or selling the device to another person, the proper thing is to remove it from your iCloud account. That way it is no longer tied to your account and can be setup by anyone else.
