Thank you, i did install without account , but when i wanted to add app ,like you tube i had to use email,and old apple id,, because i wanted to add Apower screen mirroring app on both my apple mini and Samsung/Android A52 5g to be mirrored for viewing in my Truck works amazing,, my Alpine Ilx 650 sound and works amazing, but has no HDMI, so this will be my screen above head unit with custom mount. hope this helps someone who wants a nice viewing screen in automobile.

We messed up! We bought 2 new pads. I set mine up, my hubby didn't. He opened it to look around inside just to see what all was in there. He didn't set a passcode or password. Later on, he tried to get back on to set it up and it will not open! It keeps asking for a password or code! He is locked out completely! He called the place where we bought them, they said he would have to go to the apple store! You have to get an appointment, then stand in line for an hour or two. He can't do that with his job! We have tried several things on the internet, to no avail. He is so annoyed with the whole process he had put it back in the box where it has sat for a couple of months! I decided I would try to help him. Please advise me on what to do.
