How to set up Apple CarPlay: 2024 Camry 

Just got the new 2024 Camry and simply assumed it had wireless CarPlay. I cannot believe it doesn’t have it and am working to return mine now. That’s completely unacceptable for a brand new 2024 vehicle to not have for the price I paid.

Hey yall- I was having issues with this as well. Here’s what I had to do: 1) PHONE -Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. If Content & Privacy Restrictions is on, tap Allowed Apps, and make sure that CarPlay is enabled. 2) Then on your iPhone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi, and make sure that Wi-Fi is also turned on. Tap the CarPlay network, and check that Auto-Join is turned on. 3) CAR - Hit MENU, then projections option. Apple CarPlay should pop Up. Hope this helps after 20 minutes of being annoyed lmao

2024 model, with no wireless Apple/android car play is a big disappointment 😢

So, you need the phone cable connected to the USB port. The connection is not wireless like in most cars.

Dafuq? Just got this car as a rental and I gotta get a damn regular ass usb connector to fit my USB-C apple charger and it won't work with the USB C port in the armrest??? What kind of shit is that Toyota? You kidding me?

Got a 2023 XSE and didn’t understand why it was missing wireless CarPlay. Few other things as well.

Can you do a video on how to connect to CarPlay on the 2024 Sienna via Bluetooth? I can play music from my phone on my Sienna but can't get Carplay so I can't access Google maps on CarPlay.

Does it only work on that usb plug or can it also work on the ones on the arm rest ?

What About Android Auto ?

Apple carplay is working wirelessly in 2024 Corolla. But when I use apple maps and drive, the digital speedometer disappers. Is there a fix to this? The integrated display shows just turns ahead when connected to the maps.

So what would cause my CarPlay to work for a minute or two then it stops. It shows on the display that the phone is connected, tap the screen and nothing. Bluetooth works, but as we all know there’s only music, no navigation ‘22 xse hybrid.

Hi Jake, I have a Toyota Camry 2015 XSE and would like to display my Samsung Android S21 screen on my car. Basically, I would like to display my Google Map's app. Is it possible? and if yes, can you recommend a specific adapter or a not so difficult way to do it?
