You can use gymnastic rings at home without a pull up bar, by using a door anchor.
Make sure it is a proper door anchor designed for taking a person's weight on a pair of gymnastic rings.
For safety use the rings on a door that closes towards you.
Make sure it is a sturdy and reliable door.

one question: with the gymnastic rings placed on the door (as you did) you can do suspension exercises such as: the cross with the rings

hi. I wouldn't recommend doing that movement with rings on a door frame

What yo do with the straps that are left?🤔

i just leave them as they are. Every movement will require a different length of strap ie a different height for the ring. I also don;t try to keep them tidy by rolling them up and catching them with velcro straps becuase that makes adjustment take way too long.
