How to set up Hik-Connect on Hikvision CCTV systems 

Thanks a lot, Paul! Very nicely explained! I decided to look for a tutorial because I was just stuck at the step when you have to enter the verification code. What a tricky name!!! I was struggling for nearly an hour to find an option of the application to send me that code, I thought that was supposed to be generated, not just chosen by myself. And, from the beginning, I was afraid that I definitely need routable IP. Thank God it's not the case. Just works fine now. Thank you!

Great tutorial, Thanks! As for the verification code 1:39 in the video you might need to check the printed label underneath your NVR to get it right.

Well that was 100 times clearer than other videos I have seen. Does port forwarding need to be done with this type of connecting? Thats where i get lost.

I want to connect the DVR with two mobiles but I it doesn't connect saying your device is connected with another account already. Is there anyway to connect two or multiple mobile with one camera setup?

Good day. I like your video demo on how to connek on mobile. I follow all instruction and i can view my dvr on my local network. Unfortunately when i am on wan means on 4G network i cant view my Dvr is there any setting or forget something? My internet speed was 25mbps fiber.

I bought a DVR hikvision 8mp and I connected and installed the cameras and the system shows the system and the division of the cameras on the screen, but the image does not appear on the camera but rather a black screen, what is the solution

Was working fine for a bit, had a power cut now all its saying is offline on app and offline 0x0 on dvr.. all settings are still same. Rebooted and nothing ?? Any help

Are you aware of the problem with the phone app not allowing playback on the phone during the day. OK when you look at the nightime recording but its stops at say 7am? displays "system unstable.trying to reconnect" Do you have an answer because the issue has been around a while and Hik Vision dont seem to want to fix it. GL
