I hear ya Herms about the shim compound issue but if the snout step face is ground square to the centreline of the crank and all bore and shaft and specially the key and key way tolerances are on point plus torque on the harmonic screw I don’t see how anything should move anyways I think I may get why and it’s probably the inconsistency’s amongst a few of the things I mentioned if not all. It turns out that this program is only available for PRP oil pumps? This is not the case with other oil pumps; we have been assembling RB engines for more than 15 years. Why not modify the pop oil pump so that the thrust washer does not touch the housing?
