This is perfect. I’ll be performing this on my R610 as soon as the H200 from art of server gets here. Then I’ll prob be hoping over to your most recent video with TruNas. How I’ve always had my media server is on a HP Z440 with OMV as my “hypervisor” and docker running Sonarr,SAB ect. But I’m going to change my config quite a bit and use Proxmox as my environment then try out there containers and ditch OMV and give TruNas a go for storage. Hopefully I can figure it all out and migrate my automated Media situation to my R610

Hi. Is it possible by passing only selected discs (not whole controller) to VM, that this VM (TrueNas) has acess to SMART of disc ?

That is something I am looking into, but haven't gotten the SMART data to passthrough yet. I will let you know if I figure it out and sorry I could help.

@@LoResDIY Thank you for your answer. Have you had any experience with SMB multichannel on TrueNas? Or maybe should I use a different way to share data for Windows? I have a 4x1Gb NIC in the server, but I manage to achieve the very unstable 220MB / s at best.

i intalled proxmox on my old laptop but i cant enter my browser show The connection has timed out can you help

Are you connect by WIFI? that could cause a problem. Also are you typing the address in correctly https:\\(YOURIPADDRESS):8006? One last thing to try is deleting you browsers cache. Fingers crossed

I didn't want to go through the explanation of what each raid type did; so I just picked one. When I set this machine up for permanent use I will be using Raid 10 with a caching drive for a little more speed.
