Welcome back. My spray set-up is similar to yours. I clean my pump by attaching a flexible clear hose to the inlet after removing the stone guard and hose clamp it on. Connect it to a garden hose and turn on the water. Turn on the pump to remove excess paint. Once the paint is removed turn off the pump and let the water run through the system. In less than one minute your pump and hose will be clean.
Forgive me for having a hard time to understand. This sounds brilliant. I want to get it done quicker. What is the stone guard? Would you mind please taking a picture of the area for me and send it to me on a text I think I know what you mean but I really would like to see you do it in a picture. Perhaps you could take a quick 30 second video next to your sprayer and just describe what you mean for me. It sounds brilliant
I believe he means to take off the suction screen and connect the garden hose there. I was happy to see that my new Harbor Freight sprayer (haha) has a water hose connection under the suction screen! Unscrew the screen, screw on the garden hose and go!
Thank you so much for this video. I was so fed up with my new sprayer that I was about to throw it. This video answered ALL my questions! Thank you thank you thank you!
Nice video. Thank you Don't forget to pull and keep clean the tip, and the gun & sprayer machine filters. Take off the intake hose (from time to time) to clean and liberate the little metal ball. (Mineral oil and Rv antifreeze are the same like the more expensive Graco or Titan's ( but much cheaper ). Instead of having to turning (on and off ) the sprayer machine "box" so often try to lower the pressure volume. If possible Keep the tips and other parts clean with alcohol or mineral spirit. If possible try to use a 25 ft hose instead of the 50 ft to save some paint. Never forget before start spraying to add a little of mineral oil to the pump. Use the Antifreeze only if you are not going to use the airless machine for more than a month or so. When finish working If you can't clean the sprayer machine or if tomorrow you are going to spray the same paint & color ( wrap the intake hose with plastic and tape to prevent the paint get dry inside ) Only clean a little the gun/ tip. Good luck. 👍 & subscribed
I like this video, I don't care if you referred to it as a box, I knew exactly what you were talking about. your video showed some details not in users manual; down for the box, side ways for the hose. I should have watched this first. Thank you. by the way, you gotta be a transplant, noway that accent is from Tampa.
Thank you Spencer for this info! Greatly appreciated! One ? do you have to clean the sprayer and run fluid through it after every use or each day? Thanks
Man, you keep saying “the box” like if it was a container for paint etc….IT IS NOT. That “box” is where all the electronic controls are located…not paint or liquids of any type. The pressure is built in the manifold/filter assembly.
