My Toyota Highlander hybrid does not late me use my fob if I have the remote control app open. Also my fab or iPhone does not work if CarPlay is selected. I cannot select iPhone , media and car play in settings. Is that correct?

Bought the added JBL add-on with 4 channel Amp in my 23 Tundra Hybrid TRD. If you are buying a vehicle with this package, save your money because the price it was a waste of money, and now I'm buying a 3K sound system. Just go to an audio installing business. The bass is as good as any factory model. Apparently their are ways to get this package more enhanced by taking out wires or switching wires on the amp. I don't mean to make this a novel. I do love my truck. it's beautiful, but the sound system is a joke. I did get a bit more bass by going into settings on Spotify, but for my genre of and sincere passion for Hardcore genres the machine gun fire double bass was never fully chambered and defenitly not hair pinned. Save your money on JBL, but get the truck. I broughy up my disappointment to the servive department at Stevinsons Toyota West in Colorado and was told to being it in to an audio retailet. Tjen the retailet told me to bring it in to Toyota because all they do is rip out the 22 and 23s amps and subwoofee. Even called JBL and was told to bring it to either Toyota or Retailet. What a joke. Lol. Save your money SMH

There are very many seemingly random issues reported: 1. Don’t play according to track order 2. Car creates its own track order!! 3. Only play in alphabetical order 4. No song title

2021 Rav4 multimedia screen software is primitive and difficult to use if it works at all. Android Auto worked for a short time, now I just get a blank screen. Rest of multimedia screen features are either clunky or don't work at all. It would be better if they didn't install this inferior product since I have wasted a great deal of time trying to get it to work. I have wised up and stopped trying. I have also uninstalled the annoying Toyota app from my phone.👎

I gave that horrible app about 2 days before I deleted it. I can't believe a huge company like Toyota can't deliver a better app. I'm not alone on it either because it's got a low rating and tons of complaints. It's a shame (for them) because if it actually worked well I was willing to pay the yearly fees, so they are missing out of a source of income from lots of people who are disappointed with it.

It's a great bummer that I can't use my flash drive with Apple Car Play because you only have one USB connection, thus you have to attach either your phone or your flash drive. If you put two USB ports like Honda, you can use a flash drive and carplay at the same time. This is extremely dissatisfying...

Ann Friend, I hear you. I do not want to go into debt to keep up with technology! At some point we all have to be able to say stop; unless of course you have a bundle of extra money somewhere that you do not need right away.
