Just bought a new 2023 tacoma sr5 and do i have use cable for android if no i dont see a way to connect wirelesly , cant see an option! And other thing when hit the map button it wasy map isnt installed and go to toyota website and when u go there only info for its not working but does not give you a solution ? If entune is no longer working what to use? Toyota app? I do have it installed but it only gives you some info about your car??? When i hit on applications button there is only NOTIFICATIONS AND WI FI apps are there but nothing else.

I have a 2024 Prius Prime XSE Premium. My problem is, once I get the multimedia system in Apple Car Play, I cannot figure out how to exit the Apple Car Play and revert back to the vehicle's menu. How do I do that?

My EMF meter reads very high in my new Toyota, I guess it is all the 3G / telematics , is it possible to disable all this stuff? Can I ask the dealer to do it? I don't want to drive this vehicle currently due to the RF radiation. I am back driving my old car which has none of this stuff. If you insist on all this tech, why not at the very least fit the antenna away from the occupants , maybe on the outside of the car on the roof or back of car etc.

Just bought a 23’ 4Runner TRD OR and was told it would have wireless CarPlay. It doesn’t. 13 years of the 5th gen 4Runner and the only upgrade is a heated steering wheel. Ridiculous

My 2020 Corolla LE doesnt have android auto installed. Only apple crap. I was told when buying the car that it could be installed at a later date. 4 years later there is still no install for it. If i would have known it wasnt a thing i wouldnt have bought the car. Disappointed Toyota

I was looking in RU-vid after the good cars , and I bought a RAV4 2023 and I am not happy, not at all. I never had a car so noisy ( IF YOU PUS A LITTLE MOR THE GAZ ,IT MAKE NOIS, ) Where are noisy because something it is wrong maybe for this raison Toyota no more ofre the garantie 5 Year or 100000Km Now is only 3 years and 60000Km If you want to extend to 5 years and 100000Km it ask for this $3000 to $3500. SOMETHING IS WRONG!!! I never understood why I need the make a inscription for Toyota . I think not the TOYOTA bisnease, hwo drive my car, if I drive or my wife or my son or frend or neighbors it is my bisnease. And I don't need permission of TOYOTA I don't know why when I start the car my phone show somebody try to have access to my hidden folder. When I begin drive after 10 min the multimedia stop working "connection dellay" and don't cane to do nothing, I have to restart and begin the settings (one day I will have an accident of this case). I am living in north America and here is to much snow, Now imaginate you take a trip in the night and begin to snow and right now Your car stop it can bee several case 1 ) the toyota (want to force to make the inscription ) 2) th dealer can send messages to car to stop ( looking for work) 3) a haker ( for a racon to pay some money) 4) dierent case -In conclusion don't You control the car (can start , stop remotely) still it found You somebody You or Your family can froze in the snow . The car Is not bad ,but if you want to buy -- ----It is very noisy ---- high risk too accident -- hight risk to bee hacked or stolen --- it make the phone wery hot I bought the car with $36000.00 and not me control the car ( toyota can STAR and STOP when it want)

Why did Toyota create this pathetic app which is so complicated and unreliable that it's useless. My 2018 Highlander had everything available from the get go, and there was no need for registration, downloads , fees. Toyota made a big mistake in locking in so-called technical advances which are unnecessary.. The more complicated the electronics are... the more unreliable the fixes are...
