This is the best beginners video! I love the Zebco rod. It's easy to set up and easy to use. We celebrated our dad's 91st birthday by taking him fishing and I prepared the Zebco rods the night before using your video. Everyone was very pleased with how easy it was to operate.. Your demo of tieing the knot is awesome and it worked every time. I'm now a follower, lol!! Thank you!! By the way, we caught a dozen fish!! Great for beginners 😊
I've been a fan of ZEBCO keep up the good work. My first one was Zebco 33 in 1986 and it still works great just oils twice only and still use it for trout fishing 🎣 my kid's still have there Zebco 202 combo open cast kind from 2005 and one of my kid's it's his only one that he uses he just used it today for cutthroat trout he said it all he needs. I used my new 33 gold in ugly stick GX2 medium light pole.
Two issues-first, she did not wet the line before closing knot. This can cause heat due to friction and weaken line. 2nd-she hooked jig onto the eye of guide. This can cause abrasive spots on guide that will stress line. Best to hook on metal mount of guide or hook retainer.
I think I mistakenly picked up one that’s missing the second rod piece. Was the 2nd piece attached to the outside or is it inside the hollow part before I take it back to Walmart to exchange
