In this video I will be showing how I setup a ball python enclosure using a 20 gallon long tank. The size of the tank depends on the size of your snake. This setup is ideal for hatchlings up to small sub adults.
Supplies List
- 20 gallon long tank
- 20 gallon long lid
- Light fixture that can handle the appropriate wattage
- Ceramic heat emitter with appropriate wattage in relation to your climate
- Fake safe plants and décor
- Water dish that isn't porous or sharp
- 2 or more hides with only one entrance
- Substrate that holds humidity and won't mold
- Thermometer and hygrometer
- Dimmer
- Lid locks
- Black foam or construction paper
- Foil tape or duct tape and tin foil
