Well, I'll say this... A year ago I knew nothing about computers/components and was told how easy it was to get into PC gaming:) You are most likely talking about someone who, at least, has a basic understanding of computers and there parts, but for someone who doesn't have a clue about what a CPU, GPU, MB, PSU, MEMORY, ETC... are or what there functions are PC gaming is extremely unaccessible. I basically had to put in many months of learning what things were and then what I needed to buy... And this didn't even include learning about how to monitor your cooling, fans, all things windows 10...verifying files when steam game won't launch, crashes.. Etc... If you already have a base in all things computers then yeah, PC gaming is as easy as plugging in your computer, but thinking that a good handful of people that would like to PC game wouldn't know what to even put in a custom build and much less, be able to troubleshoot if anything went wrong in steam or windows(that inevitably happens) without a severe headache... THIS IS MY ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE IN PC GAMING... It's amazing, Very much worth it, but it has been very stressful....

@@cuttingaway123 But be aware, when you firstly build a PC that costs in the 300-400$ range, the performance won’t be as good as you expect. I used to have a i5 3470 cpu and my gpu was a GT 1030 which wasn’t a very good setup but after saving up over time in a matter of months or years, I was able to get a 1080 ti and a i7. It just takes a lot of time tbh

Personally I just got the NZXT Starter PC and bought a 165hz 27” curved 1ms freesync ( I think that’s it ) and I used to play on my old laptop this was a huge upgrade thanks for the heads up and info I needed it lol

I’m new to this shit and I’m so confused, if I buy a prebuilt pc do I need to buy plugs or does it come with it and to turn it on do I have to just plug in 1 plug to the monitor then it’s good to go?

bandod 1. If you have a hdmi cable or display port cable, connect one end into your monitor and the other to the graphics card of your pc. It’s as easy as that. 2. HDMI 2.0 or Display Port for monitors with refresh rate higher than 144 Hz.

At the moment value wise you should consider Ryzen 5 2600 + rx580/gtx 1070-1080. Depending on the GPU you pick you can either pair it up with a 1080p or 1440p monitor.

Are you talking about the back of the PC, as in the I/O ports? At a minimum, you need to plug the mouse and keyboard. If you are using the onboard graphics, you would plug the video cable to the motherboard.

Depends on the game and the frame pacing,30 fps can feel pretty decent if those two criterion are met.

You may need more cable you have pretty good pc and monitor or check if the monitor has one of those little buttons on the right side of it and keep changing the cables till you see the screen

From my understanding: Monitor, CPU, keyboard, mouse. (Don’t need speakers ig). Plug into power/monitor. Install windows and then put on your games right?? Or do I need to buy any additional stuff??

You forgot: graphics card, power supply, and PC case. If you're referring to the CPU as the entire computer, that is not technically correct. The CPU is the processor and is a part of the computer, but it in itself is not a computer.

PCs are extremely versatile. You can use pretty much any keyboard/mouse you want. It mainly comes down to preference.

hello, i have a 240hz alienware monitor all i need plugged in from the monitor to pc is the dp cord and the power cord ? the monitor came with 3 cords one of them is the dp cord so i ended up plugging all of them in..
