Real men dont use CPU or GPU. They just plug their monitor into a case.

Remember bottlenecking a AMD A8 APU with a R9 280x Twin Frozr, didn't know what bottlenecking was at the time only until I mentioned my fps problems when playing to a friend. A great in depth guide something people will really benefit from and quite easy to understand too.

One thing to keep in mind, you can always upgrade the other components. I generally buy a GPU that is a little ahead of the rest of my components then upgrade the motherboard/CPU later. My desktop is a constantly evolving machine. There are always parts that go back one or two generations all the way back to my first real build. I started with an AMD Duron, 64MB of DDR, 20GB HD and a Geforce 4 4800 Ti VIVO, added drives to it as I could, upgraded the CPU then the motherboard, later got a Geforce 6800 XT and a separate tuner card, then an XP 2400+. Next was a Phenom 9600 BE and the drives and tuner all moved with the new system, got a new GPU as the old AGP didn't work on a PCIe board, that GPU and drives carried forward to my FX 6300, upgraded the GPU twice in that generation, the GPU, drives and tuner all moved to the next version which was an Ivy Bridge Xeon that I picked up for a song... now all of those parts are in my Ryzen 7 3700x build. Just because the card will be bottlenecked in your current build doesn't mean you can't upgrade the system to take advantage of it before it is too old to use.
