you all prolly dont give a shit but does someone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@Jace Dash thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
The biggest problem I have with this channel is there isn’t always enough substance in your videos, but this one proved me wrong! Great video, make more just like this one!
I used to use this model all the time, we had a milling job on it for Landrover ,It was the fastest way we could machine it. The one thing you must never have a smash on it, it will put all your parts out if the turret and sub spindle have moved. If you over work the driven tooling the tooth belt can wear out in the turret, we had this and had to slow the feed down. But a Great machine .
This video is excellent - Great to hear about set up strike avoidance. Also, as advanced as the beat is, there are limitations. Being conscious of the right tool for the situation rather than a great tool, is a very insightful and experienced point of view. Good job guys👍
Travis,Titan it would be absolutely great to show a y axis grooving tool on the Puma 2600 , new machine new way to groove . You always showcase the very best in cutting edge tech .
man i have been waiting for content on the 2600 i just started back in august programming setting up and running the same machine . really like seeing how others are making it happen
That's one hell of a machine I used to program a Ducson Puma live tooling and a tail stock it was a hell of a big machine it ran up to 12 feet long material 18 20 inches in diameter it was a beast
I like this channel. One more clearance consideration is checking to see if your cut off tool will slice into your covers 😕. ...I just had to say that.
Good video. Must be grand when the boss supplies you with all the proper tools I program and set-up a Doosan 2100LY but bosses really haven't equiped it like it should be. Frustrating. I've programmed ans set up two, seven axis Mori DL-20, two turrets, two chucks that could work toghether. Great machines.
Why the 6 jaw on the sub spindle? It’s impossible to align your jaws when transferring short parts and the jaws have to mesh together on both chucks? (Not well written but you hopefully get my drift?)
I wonder if that is the only option kennametal has for parting off, its pretty bulky, several other companies make holders that allow you to have as little as .600" between chucks when you parting off. That system seems pretty limited.
Broke a tool in a beast mode cut a few videos back... It was epic. Beyond that I am very measured and calculated. If something happens, I will definitely show it😉
I would love to work in a modern maschine shop like yours but i make make my eduction in a small german maschine shop. We have just a few maschines and they are not the best.
Many German companies have very old machinery, we earn the money in Germany, they invest it in Romania or Hungary. Industry and machining in Germany is dying a slow death.
Could you guys make a complete titanium 4 rotor boosted engine and help Rob Dahm make the worlds most powerful 🤷🏻♂️ It would be a brilliant video Probably the worlds biggest Rotary geek with industry and aerospace leading technology even get Tyson& Titan to help Rob get the most out of his machine 👌🏼
those "quick" change chucks can be a real pain to use.. I don't like them at all.. and you would most likely whack the machine if hitting the jaws .. tool is nothing compared to repairs;)
When you add tools, I was wondering how you add these tools to the tool menu page on the puma lathe? You add a tool and set it up on the tool menu page, calling out nose radius, insert angle, but how do you get to the menu page on your machine? DN solutions are very bad at getting this information out to the user. I got this machine at work, but no one can figure it out they are all Mazak guys.
