just amazing, my 9 year old did it! but we cant get it to turn on after reboot, we run that line python 3 stats and it comes on again. well try again with the cron stuff - thanks!

When I run "Sudo python3 raspi-blinka.Py" It says "python3: can't open file '/home/jayden/raspi-blinka.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory" Please help me

needed to substitute pip with sudo apt ina couple of places as the tutorial is very old .. and had to use root level on a cople of points.. As I'm not a linus or pyhton person I used chatgpt to help out. also after reboot the script did not show in the display and I"m still trying to getthat part working

Great video but what are you poking at 8:40 to get the OLED screen to come back on? I've done everything correctly, but upon reboot, the OLED screen will not come back on. That's when I noticed you poked something to get the screen to light up

I keep getting a error 400 when I run the wget pi installer scripts line. I see that you look like your using wifi in video so maybe I should try without ethernet and see.

I tried it. All looked good until I rebooted and it didn't come on. I am wondering if retropie uses a different crontab

in order to get my pi to display the info on the display on restart I had to do the following crontab -e @reboot python3 /home/pi/stats.py > /home/pi/stats.log 2>&1 & @reboot cd /home/pi/OLED_Stats && python3 stats.py > /home/pi/stats_oled.log 2>&1 & chmod +x /home/pi/stats.py again with the help of Chatgpt.. I now have the display showing the info. from the video !
