Been there, done that. As a musician/roadie, most people don't know about all the work involved in setting up a musical event. No regrets..it was worth it...
Yeah mate, that was part of the intention behind putting the video together, I remember years ago before being initiated into the art of the setup and would've assumed that all the equipment was "just there". Now I know... nope!
Hey buddy - thanks for the excellent video. I'm also using the Ui24 - great mixer! I've never seen those power extension cables with the individual sockets along the length that you used for the foldbacks, but they look really useful. Where did you get them? I'm in the UK but when I search for a description of what you've got I only get the standard 4 way type power extenders. Cheers.
Hey thanks, good question, I can’t remember specifically where (may have been from a hardware type of store down here in Oz called ‘Bunnings’ or ‘Mitre 10’, or may have been eBay/amazon. I’m assuming you would have different powersockets in the UK yeah? Ok after typing the above I double checked and found this. www.bunnings.com.au/arlec-4m-extension-lead-with-4-power-outlets_p0046868?region_id=115068&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADtbEB9BNctRN9AWaSlHcGtpRAbd6&gclid=CjwKCAjwl4yyBhAgEiwADSEjeDH__JHf_msNzD8q23gMT0i96Z2LgKZkrEuaR1sj0B1zIL6mpyOL7RoCdg8QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Hope that helps!
@@CraftyMusicTips Hey man. Thanks for coming back to me. Those seem ideal but I can't seem to find the equivalent with UK sockets which is a shame! I've got some dual IEC leads with 2m leads on that work quite well in some contexts but what you found there would be spot-on! Oh well, I'll keep looking. Cheers.
