If i have the link protection turned on, do moderators still get to post links? If so how do I make sure that is set up correctly? I know how to do it on nightbot but I am trying to switch over to botrix.

Do you have to have the botrix website open in a browser to have it work in your chat?

No, you do not! It's cloud sourced so once you make it a mod for your chat it starts working immediately. You only need the browser open to make adjustments to your bot, like to edit commands, etc.
