I can understand the reason for the 3rd string bit flat, but why the 6th too?

@@saepiumv3813 it has to do with rotational spheroid geometry and centrifugal vibratory emancipation of the dissonance within the magnetic field balanced within the 33d degree of the fluxing of the fibonnaci spiraling golden rule. Which is because Tomo fujita said and when Tomo Fujita speaks people listen. The exception to the rule only applys to PROCRASTINATORS. There are are two things you must to do the 1st is change yours strings, and

Love that Shingle Pedal Board! Genius! 🙌🏼💙🤘🏼 I also like the Quarter Trick, but my personal hack is to bend the extra string back and forth several times against the hole of the tuning peg, back and forth, until it creates a soft point in the metal and it snaps. Leaves a very clean brake and usually is just inside the hole so there is very little chance of getting snagged on the sharp ends when I do it right. I also allow for about 3 or 4 coils on the peg so the string won't slip out, but I have never had one come out in all my 30+ years of playing. Just a way that has worked for me. 🙏🏼💙🤘🏼

Love your videos!!! Electronics can be a finicky thing. I remember hearing the story of John Mayer’s black custom shop guitar, got it home and it didn’t work. He put in the freezer and still did not work. He opened it up and someone forgot to solder a wire. Even when you spend $$$$, you can still get electronics that were not installed properly. I would be interested to see you compare phaser pedals in the $25-$50 price range.

Judging just by the videos, I think that Tele sounds better than the Squire Strat from the other day. And btw, I thought the Japanese Strat sounded significantly better than the Squire Strat. String magic: I'd always wondered how people got the curly strings. :)

Tomo-Sama, Have you mentioned the best part of these two particular Squire Bullet Telecaster models yet? That they both have 'narrow-tall' frets (0.055" high). This is apparently _very_ unusual for low cost guitars in this price range, yet it makes the instruments _so_ much easier to play for new players with 'soft office hands'. I don't understand why most of the budget electric guitars usually have Medium-Jumbo frets, which I think are the lowest frets in common usage. I have the similar Tele in two tone sunburst (Fender model #0370045532), and my guitar had excellent fret ends. No need for me to do anything about them. The exposed parts of the fret ends are well rounded, and the sharp parts pressed into the fretboard are slightly recessed into the wood at both sides of the fretboard, all along the neck, making the guitar super smooth to play out of the box. (OK, I still had to adjust the action height a fair bit, but that is OK.) Imagine being born a Squire guitar, yet you still end up being played by Tomo Fujita. ❤️

I have that same telecaster (black with white pick guard, but black painted head stock). It is a great guitar for the money. I had a MIM Tele, but the Squier was better especially the neck. Thanks for the setup tips.

How many cents flat? I tried to wait until you played that string solo so I could measure it myself. So what happens every time that string is not the 3rd in a chord? What if it's the 5th etc etc? Doesn't this just make every other chord (using that string) off by a bit? thanks!

Good question! That's you want to figure out by yourself and you will know how you want to hear it. Try to hear a few chords. Open G, D, E, C, A... find good sweet spot on tuning!

Brass Nut is always a must for greater sustain . I like hot pickups switched out . Beyond that neck sound be tighten down for better bends .

that was great i just about the 3rd and 6th string a little flat trick... are you suggesting a little flat at the 12th fret for those strings? i guess i should just try and see if it sounds good

I have a squier tele custom II, bought it 2010, was waiting almost a year for a lower price and finally get it online (not in amazon) for 250€/ 250$....a full powerhouse of tone and crunchiness!!!! Your bullet sounds really well and looks very comfortable to play. Thanks for your tips, very interesting!!!

Being a cheap guitar, is it harder to play than more expensive ones? I'm planning to buy this bullet but wondrring if i should save up and get tue classic vibe 50 version as it is double the price.

This one is pretty good overall. Good intonation and good tone. But playability and feel *TONE* then expensive one (Great one) is definitely better.

Picked this guitar up yesterday. It's a super nice playing guitar. I want to keep it. Thanks for the tips. So far I am replacing the tuners, the nut, I've rolled the fret ends and the fretboard to make it more comfortable. Then I polished the frets to a mirror shine. It has a bad finish which hides the flame maple neck so I may sand and stain or do tru oil. What a snappy guitar though. 2019 with a string through. So, now my lineup consists of, 89 Squier 11 stratocaster (Korean), 86 bullet 1 tele/Stratocaster contemporary (Japan) 70's Yamaha g100a (Japanese), 2020 Epiphone emperor joe pass, Squier SE from 2000 and my first Epiphone 2000 basher les paul that I got as a kid. That's quite the lineup. I seem to love vintage, lol. But I really love that telecaster.

Thanks for this. I need to do this for my yamaha pacifica. Bca as a broke student i have no money to buy a more expensive one lol. I have a problem with my 1st string. Sometimes when i bending up the string its become dead and the bending is just stop and no sound.
