Thank you so much, another video said that it just couldn't be done! Not that I intend to use my SDR for a home entertainment system, I just want to know how. I notice that several videos are a bit misinformed, the more familiar I get with the program. Keep up the good work!

This software always reports the frequency accurately so fat, the others, Cubic I haven't gotten running get, and SDRSharp won't change the lo when I tune it sometimes, but it changes the display anyway so the number is incorrect. When the lo doesn't update, Hdsdr notices and reports the accurate value and I can press button until it actually changes. I like this.
but... the signal is still preemphasised ;) Important thing is to set FM-BW so that it doesn't clip at 100% modulation (+/- 75 kHz). Typically anywhere between 150-192 kHz as you did.
You can use it together with RDSspy software. And adjusting signal wave to optimise sound is better, in my opinion. At least in FM mode that I am using.
Perhaps I am just being retarded but all I can get is static with it. I was hoping to be able to grab a few more shortwave stations then I can get with the SDR# but try as I might I can't get anything in any mode or band I have tried.
