@@Cripowski In the mixer, disconnect a track from the master, and on that track at the bottom you can set the output to line 3 and 4 Set sounds to this mixer track to be sent out of the daw to be effected by the pedals. And then choose a separate different track, for this one only need to set the input to 1 and 2 This is where the sound is coming back from the pedals and back into the daw to the master where, will hear your effected signal on this track.

hey man, your video was definitely the most helpful, as im looking to invest in either the mood or blooper (or both lmao). just wanted to ask you something before i begin making purchases. if i go ahead and purchase the 18i8 interface, will i experience humming or buzzing? will my pedal be damaged with the 18i8 if i dont go ahead and get a re amp? just want to make sure my gear is safe.
there is a very subtle hum/buzz but it adds to the character of the sound and I think its kind of nice, and I don't use a re amp and its fine. you just have to be a little more carful with how loud/ harsh the sound is but overall no issues so far.
@@ppineapple okay then that should be fine. when you say how harsh the sound is, you mean the sample coming from within fl right? i usually don't clip my audio or make it ridiculously loud
What it do man.. great Video!!! I just purchased the blooper and the mood , but I’m having issues when trying to record mood micro loop into the blooper, when I turn on the blooper I can’t hear the mood anymore. I’ve been searching for some answers and your video was the closest. Do you understand my issue? If so how do I fix it?
The only thing I can think of is that you have the pedals in the wrong order, Since the Blooper is a looping pedal it has to be after the mood in your pedal chain in order to hear it, because it records the audio going into it and then plays it back while you make changes. if your running them on 2 separate chains you could try recording the mood as an audio clip and then putting it thru the blooper. lmk if this works!
@@ppineapple thanks so much for the reply, it worked with the blooper last and surprisingly I got it to work at the beginning of the chain, I’ve also just got the Thermae what’s your opinion on where to add it in the chain? I’m also looking into using the midi function to tempo sync.. have you tried it yet?
Have you ever tried using a stereo pedal? Mine gets powered with 9V. It’s the only pedal I have rn, I’m using output 3 of my Apollo twin and mic input 2, basically your way of doing it. But I instantly get some sort of feedback loop / clipping. I’m afraid of destroying it. I think I’m either going to have to buy the 18i8 and/or an reamp for it
I don't have any stereo pedals so I'm not sure what the issue might be, maybe try lowering the volume on the sound going into the pedal my blooper is kinda weird with super loud things and clips a bit if its way too loud
Think about what effects you use most often, a chorus or delay pedal is probably the safest options you can start with (You don't wanna drop a couple hundred on something you wont use regularly. I would really recommend the Mood, you can get a bunch of interesting effects with it. for the blooper I really have not found a way to implement it into my workflow so I don't know if I would recommend getting it to start off with, its really fun but hard to use consistently. overall just see what effects you use the most and go with that kind of pedal also watch a lot of demos.
@@ppineapple yeah, the general consensus when asking other producers is that the blooper is kinda hard/not really great. i think it could be a wonderful pedal, but I've only heard good things about the mood. plus I'm looking to make my samples more ambient, dark. kinda like a travis/keem/don t sound. i think the mood will do just fine + its the cheaper option so i think it'll be a bit of a safer choice. thank you for the recommendation!

Hey man how can you hear the sounds from the pedal if your monitors are connected to outputs 1 and 2 on the focusrite? Cus in fl studio you change a mixer track (for the pedals) to outputs 3 and 4. I want to invest in some monitors cus I don’t wanna use headphones all the time to just hear my pedals in action lol Edit: Ohh I’m guessing that you changed the monitors’ playback in the focusrite settings app correct?
im not really sure i understand what your saying, but i think that your thinking that im switching the master outputs to the 3/4. what i do is have a seperate mixer channel for the pedals, so the sound goes to the mixer, out to the pedals, back in and then thru the master out 1 and 2. you dont have to mess around with the focusrite app at all.

sorry for the late reply, but try lowering the volume of the sound going into the pedal, my blooper gets pretty bad sounding if the audio into it is too loud. I think the re amp box is prolly the permeant fix for this but idk
Do u got some more interface recommendations beside focusrite 18i8? Will native intruments komplete audio 6 will work with 2/3 pedals? Or should I look for something better?
I can really only recommend the focusrite because that’s what I’ve used, if the Komplete one has addition inputs and outputs is should work. And don’t worry about multiple pedals, you can run as many as you want in a chain so the number really isn’t an issue for choosing your interface
hey, so i just wanted to ask about an issue I've been having. i recently got the blooper and the cables i got for the mood are the same ones i got for the blooper. now, the cable goes into the input just fine, but when i try to plug it into the output port, it wont go in fully and just stays halfway in. what do you think the issue would be?
Am i missing somthing? I have everything set up right and even have the same interface yet i cant seem to get the effect to actively work within Fl. It plays as if there is no processing going on even though i have my pedal active. I hear it activating within my focusrite interface but not my DAW
the only thing that i can think of is your not using the focusrite asio or you dont have your sound routed to the mixer where the guitar pedals are set up
@@ppineapple I appreciate the help! I’m thinking it maybe may be that as well. I’m going to try updating my FL, I think it might not be registering the FocusAsio properly even though it seems like it. I’ll let you know if anything changes once I update it.
@@mortenpederlarsen9988 unfortunately not yet sadly. Everything seems to match up properly and is signal flowing properly but still not hearing the daw play back through into the pedal effect.
