Just opened mine for the first time today, had the game since release lol….i love these types of games but was a tad overwhelmed learning it at first. This video definitely helped me work through understanding it. Thanks!
I missed the initial KS for this, but was able to pick up EVERYTHING for a pretty reasonable price. As someone who had the big Castle Greyskull toy as a kid, I love having a new one. Pledged for Sy-Clone & Jitsu in the new KS
The original Kickstarter was a fun one, but would have been nice seeing what the final price for EVERYTHING would have been earlier in the campaign. Also as someone who had that Greyskull, I love having the one from this game on my shelf 😬Now I want Snake Mountain!
I happy to FINALLY playing some! It’s tough for me to get a second player even outside of recording, so no guarantee I’ll have one for this game for the channel. Maybe some day 🤞🏻🙏🏻🤞🏻
A few notes, and these were clarified in the official FAQ. Objective markers do 'occupy' hexes, so characters can't occupy those spaces as well. Also, the movement cost for moving in/out of terrain is IN ADDITION to the normal point of movement, so jumping onto the rock terrain would take three points.
That’s official on the FAQ for the rocks? Because the card says “pay 2 movement to enter or leave”, so I read that as out of the 3 a character gets, 2 are needed to go up a rock or down. Using all 3 to get on or off feel excessive.
@@homegamerdad I agree. It's very excessive but the FAQ states it as an addition to the normal movement cost. "Q: How does movement penalty onto terrain work? A: A terrain’s movement penalty is additional to the movement spent. For example, Rock terrain reads, “Models must pay 2 spaces of movement to enter or leave this Terrain”. Rocks will require +2 spaces of movement, for a total of 3 spaces of movement to enter or exit the terrain. There is no movement penalty to move through a terrain a model is already on."
Would Faker have used the two energy he gained for rolling the two Grayskull in order to use his attack boost the second time? I know it wouldn't have mattered, but I'm curious
I believe so, actually. Generally, the AI will always do what it needs to so that it has the best possible Action then can have. Boosts are allowed to fire off once per Action (unless otherwise noted), so if he had the Power, then yes he should have spent it to boost an attack. Lol sounds like something I overlooked when playing. Like you said, didn't matter either way, but always good to know.
@@homegamerdad I love watching your stuff because it always helps me in my future games as well. I don't have the box of power yet, (I only just supported this go round so I'll get it at some point this year lol), but I can't wait to play with the new characters.
