there's two versions I found out. the wifi only, which is usually sold at best buy and such, can't do the calling. the 4G models that are sold from carriers, can.

it's tricky to setup, sometimes you have to contact T-mobile to activate it if it wasn't done.

Damien Galan gear classic s2 has sound but I don't think gear s2 does.

so you don't need to switch out the embedded Sim card within the watch or anything.. you can just Bluetooth connect and answer and receive calls with my at&t service I guess?

Hi, i have swapped from a samsung V700 to the S2 gear, i have one quetion. When i have both my V700 and my mobilePhone together i would not have to keep entering my pin number into my phone everytime i wanted to access the phone, i can not seem to find this feature on the S2 gear, does it have it on the S2. cheers Dean

Nawal if you have a phone with them its 5 dollars if you dont its 15 plus the 16 they charge for the contract i know cause i just bought one also the taxes on it is 25 dollars

Nawal I have had the gear s, s2 & now the s3. What I like about having the 3g/lte service with all of them is the ability to walk out of bluetooth range & still receive notifications. So I can leave it at home, goto gym or leave on my desk at work. I am a female & have had large screen phones for years so I can't always walk around the office/gym w/phone in pocket.

Got the Samsung Gear S2 classic and it doesn't hold a charge all day. Battery life is drained about half way through the day. What is the problem with the battery.

I have S2 Att it’s unlocked so I can use on T-Mobile I purchased unlocked I’d suggest contacting T-Mobile to unlock. That’s what I had to do to Unlock IPhone 6s

I make calls from mine. Are you sure they understood just which watch you were talking about? I can call without my phone being around I have a # for my smartwatch so it acts as a standalone phone.

i had the moto360, LG watches and Gear S (great for texting) and this S2 watch is the best so far overall. android wear watches has accurate voice active google searches and voice commands. s2 works fast and smooth.

Jeff H classic s2 has a speaker but s2 sport doesn't. s2 classic is 3g and can be used to forward your phone calls to your watch. 👍

Yes thanks the 3g version of the s2 classic has a speaker. I have the non 3g version s2 classic and it doesn't have a speaker. I may try using bluetooth headphones to make a phone call from the watch.
