I'm glad that you demonstrated the other brand bands as I like the idea of having a chain link band instead of the leather. Great video! I've been considering getting an S2 classic for a while but all the review videos I found were only a few minutes and didn't go in depth on all the apps and abilities the S2 has. This 20+ min demonstration is just what I was looking for. I'm sold!

You present excellent reviews. They are briskly paced, articulate and organized. It's such a refreshing change from the reviewers who "um" and "er" and try to decide what they'll say next. They clearly don't take the time to edit their reviews to get rid of long pauses and delays. So... well done!

Love the fact that you can view notifications on the gear s2. Makes it easy to see if any important messages were received while in the lab rather than finding my bag to get my phone when it could be a not so urgent message or if my phone is on silent.

I received the classic for Christmas. My favorite feature so far is the rotating bezel and the fact that it tracks my steps without having my phone in my pocket or purse. As a female I love the size of the watch, not too big, not too small. The classic is a beautiful and sophisticated look. I am looking forward to seeing all that they come up with in the coming months.

Subscribed you the moment you said you're gonna show the bands that you bought for the classic as you couldn't find proper images on the net to see how they look. My favorite features are definitely the rotating bezel (because that is by far the best form of navigation on any smart watch out right now) and the customizability of the watch faces that makes it easy to personalize to your liking! Hope I get it!

Awesome & well spoken to the point in all your reviews as always. Thank you for the 2 items for carefully removing watch bands & adjusting pins. Whew I've heard of some people damaging their Gear s2 sport watch for hand handling or using anything else. I ordered the silver mesh magnetic adjustable band from amazon. They also have other colors.

my favorite is the fact that it is more than just notifications on your wrist. it has so many useful feature it's hard to choose I'd say the widgets are my favorite. they add so much functionality to a wearable.

I love my Gear S2 4G. I really appreciate the tips. I've had mine a lil over a week and learned more from this vlog than any of the previous ones I have seen on RU-vid. My fav feature is actually the design. I was very happy with the Gear S but this looks and feels more like a watch especially being a girl. Great video and very helpful.

Most comprehensive video ive seen on the gear S2. Thanks. At best buy i was trying out the S2 and got it to control the music on my bote 4 phone through bluetooth. Im guessing we dont need to have bluetooth headphones to control the music on our phone which is great.

After trying on the Gear S2 and Classic in store, the sports Gear S2 just felt so much more comfortable and fit me perfectly so I went with that. I didn't really like the look of the Classic's band either after seeing it in person it just looked and felt like a cheap leather band and I didn't want to have to spend extra money on additional bands. Maybe when the Gear S3 comes out I might consider their more classy version of it but coming from the Pebble Steel I wanted something more comfortable and for it to last longer since the leather band on Pebble wore out quite quickly from wearing it every day so something to be aware of for buyers. The sports Gear S2 was also like $100 cheaper from where I brought it from in Australia.

I honestly thought it was a complete waste to buy one of these without the 3G/4G connectivity. However, after using my 3G version for about a week, I can honestly see the advantages to both. I haven't worn my Classic once without my phone present. Who does? Realistically, how often do you leave the house without your phone? I've forgetten my keys plenty of times but, I've hardly ever gone anywhere without my phone. So, the fact that the S2 Classic (non-3G/4G) is a little more attractive (thinner) than the mobile data model, is really a valid argument in itself to consider buying that version and not have to pay a monthly access fee just to look at my damn watch.

I like that you can customize the Modern Utility watch face in so many different ways! As well as changing out the watch bands on the classic style... this would make it so much easier to be able to pair with just about any outfit! I would love to give this device a try and post more reviews!

The best thing about the Samsung gear s2 is it's simple design. I personally am not big on bold and flashy, and find that the style of watch that the s2 emulates fits me best.

You can add a background from gallery with preinstalled digital watch face. if changing watch faces from the gear app TV the phone it lets you pick from any picture in the gallery. overall, best review I've seen it. got the gear s2, but still debating the classic since it seems like watch bands are easier to come across for it still.

Thanks for the well done video. I have been trying to chose a smartwatch for each of my 2 sons for a Christmas gift for about 2 weeks now and every time I thought I had decided on the right one I would read something bad about it. I pretty much had decided on the Huawei black one for $450 but I did read a couple bad things about it and since I've got to get 2 of them I was hoping to find a good one for a little less that would still do the job. I went to Best Buy and listened to what they had to say and I ended up with the Samsung Gear S2 Classic. Then I came home and watched this video and I am happy with the choice I made. I think the ability to locate your lost phone with this watch is an awesome feature!

+Keith Chirsan Most products will have something bad about them though I find most is down to personal preference like the lack of speaker on most smart watches isn't an issue for me personally because it'll look fairly stupid in public talking to your watch and if you really need hands free, just plug in some earphones into your phone that have an in-line mic and you have an easy way to answer or reject calls otherwise I'd just hold the phone when talking anyway. I'm hoping to get the S2 classic soon, only thing that bugs me is lack of apps and while it's still a newish watch, it's been out for a while now and there's very few "best app" videos for the s2. Just wondering what kinda apps you can get and do the gear S apps still work on the S2? The rotating bezel is the best design though and even though android wear as more apps it doesn't stop me wanting to get the S2 but just want an idea of the apps you can get.

The ambient light sensor is in the middle of the watch face! I only noticed it when the light reflected off of it just right when unboxing it!

the ambient light sensor is located in the center of the watch face itself. if you tilt the watch with the face off (aka black) you can see a tiny square right in the middle.

I only subscribed a few weeks ago by suddenly stumbling upon your channel and I have really enjoyed your review videos! : )(even more than the popular channels for this.) My favorite feature of the Gear S2 would have to be the rotating bezel that offers a completely new experience with the smartwatch when compared to other watches that don't offer much physical interaction on them besides a touchscreen.

I love the bezel as a means of menu navigation, but what I'd really love would be the heart rate sensor. I can't afford a smartwatch right now, but it would be so motivational to have one and I'd get a lot healthier, that's for sure.

I love how you turn the dial around the screen to navigate. I think it seems more compact than an Apple Watch, which is something I've been looking for in a watch because I am a runner.

My favorite is all the heath apps. I had weight loss surgery, so tracking my exercise, heart rate and my water in take is very important and this watch allows me to do all that.

I originally wanted the apple watch but that would've required me changing phones too. After seeing the Gear S2 Classic, I want this one. I really want the Rose Gold one but there is no date of release or how much it is anywhere that I can find. I love the ease of use the bevel gives!
