I love that the thumbnail is just the man holding the QR code to pair, frozen in time, just like i was. Waiting for the QR to scan. It brought flashbacks to my own PTSD attempting to get it to work. That cheerful "Waiting to connect!" echoing endlessly. Taunting me.
Mine always say “offline”!!!! There’s not anything wrong with my internet either!! It’s the most frustrating thing I’ve ever experienced! Once I eventually get them working which by the way, I have no idea how that happens!!! They’ll stay online for about a month! Then bam! Just when I need them…they’re offline!
I'm a 74 year old senior in love with 'Alexa' Echo Dot and "Hey Google' Mini and when I saw the reviews for the Wyze Cam on my local t.v. station, I just had to get one. One? Well, that was followed by the Wyze Cam Pan and today I received my second Wyze Cam. Entire house coverage and I just love them. Super easy setup! Thank you WyzeLabs for making such quality affordable for a senior on a fixed income, as I am.
I bought 3 of these cams. I can honestly say that the image is really really good!!! Especially, for how they cost. Even the night vision is really clear. If I had to complain about something it would be, when your playing back video it’s kinds difficult to stop it at a certain time. Say if, I wanted to go back to 3:27pm you have to keep sliding the bar back and forth trying to get it close to the desired time. Other than that small issue I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE SECURITT CAMS!!! :)

This is my only gripe so far with them. These are not perfect by any means, but so far they are doing what I hoped they would do. Range on the motion detection is about what I expected, same with night vision. Easy installation also, targeting a specific area for the view was also easy
I'm very picky when it comes to electronics, It has been a while since I'm so satisfied with a product, from the packaging to the material's quality and the incredible user friendly setup, I bought a Wyze Sense kit and I setup everything (including downloading the app and setting up my account), one camera, two door sensors and my living room motion sensor in about 10 minutes, it took me longer to walk to the front door and my back door to stick the sensors than having everything running.

@@wyze I bought a second Wyze Sense kit, here are some features that might be interesting for future updates: Scheduling for door contacts and motion sensors, similar to the event recording in cameras so we don't have a ton of notifications during the day. Small battery for the cameras as a backup in case of short power outages. Mesh inter-connectivity between cameras. Carbon Monoxide sensors. Flooding sensors for basements and laundry rooms. Appliances running sensors (that can be wrap around the power cable). Outdoor and Indoor Thermometers or even weather station. Driveway monitor. Mailbox door Contacts (this is easy, similar to door contact only weather proof). Vibration detectors for windows glass shattering. And there are more ideas that might start falling out of your scope for now.
Just purchased 2 Wyze V2 cameras. Watched this video after setup to make sure I didn't miss anything. Video is very helpful and easy to understand. Thanks for the clarification.
I dont usually comment on RU-vid, but these Camera are awesome. I have Arlo cameras and these are 10000 times better. You guys came out with a quality product at a great price. Keep up the great work. I will never buy a different brand camera again. I wish I found out about you guys sooner.

I followed along with you on your short tutorial and in about 3-4 minutes time had my wyze camera completely set up. The clear picture and sound quality are great! There is a slight delay in live stream of 2 to 3 seconds. I am very happy and satisfied. I like that I can share with my daughter, out of state and she is able to view whatever my camera is picking up any time. It's well made and solid. It's not made cheap or junkie. I will probably be buying these as gifts! Thank you for making it affordable and simple to set up!!!
After 2 months looking every where searching of all options to buy camera , finally I purchased Wyze . Total of 5 v2 and 2 wyze pam cameras . I am so happy and completely satisfied with the unique options , features , price and Video quality . Wyze has beaten all very expensive cameras in the marketplace, no match what so ever. Wyze was wise on this inexoensive invention. Ive spent more on another and got crappy results. I love it. Set up was a breeze. I set it up so it could live stream the front of my home. Sharp live stream, record and picture taking. Unreal for the price. After setting it up and seeing the results...I ordered a 2nd one the same day.
Mine just arrived . Set up was a breeze. Hooked it up pointing at my garden to see what kinda critter is eating my carrots and kale! Maybe will get some Big foot footage! At the very least some woodchuck or rabbit footage! ;) Whatever the case this cam is really cool. Thanks Wyze team!
You can buy an outdoor case for it on Amazon and put your cam outside your house. I did it and it works even when the temperature is -16C (3,2 F for US users). I live in Canada and we had a very cold winter this year. I am very happy with my 3 cameras and I recommend it. You can't beat the price for the design, quality of pictures, ease to set up, wide angle of view, and many more features.
Just got mine in the mail yesterday. I actually bought 2 more for gifts for parties. The best $20 office/friend gift out there. Super easy to set up and I will be buying more.

I'm rather impressed. It was easy to install, the clarity is great night or day. It's a good product and it doesn't really look like a camera especially if you put it on a messy desk. I'll buy 4 or 5 more

I keep trying to connect my camera. I’m good after viewing the QR code and I the box and hit next. Then it says “cannot connect to local network” time and time again. Any suggestions? I’m NOT tech savvy.....DAH 🤣. Thank you for your assistance.
facing the same issue I have tried over and over again but it keeps telling me cannot connect to local network My Wi-Fi is 2.4ghz band so I don’t get why it not connecting
I have 3 cams. I want to take 1 of the 3 to monitor my dog at the vet clinic. Will I be able to use them independently of one another if they are on different wifi connections? Also? Do I just do the "ready to connect" set up once I go to the vet? Thanks.
I couldn't be more pleased with my WyzeCam! The set up instructions are very easy to follow, the camera quality is great and app is very intuitive. I like this camera so much, I'm ordering 4 more for other rooms in the house and garage. Thanks for providing such an awesome product!

So I need help, every time I playback on a camera it usually says no video at the selected time or the playback doesn’t work. I would move the bar and nothing same old screen.
Wyze cam just help my whole big family a lot. All my uncles and aunts use this too. Its crazily affordable with such a great feature. I wish i found this earlier tho 😭 already wasted my money w other brands before. This one worth way more. Thanks wyze for selling on a great priceee. Love u guys
I love the entire idea, super simple setup is awesome for anyone who isn’t incredibly familiar with tech. In my opinion though, the camera really needs to support the 5Ghz band. The 2.4GHz connection is notoriously unreliable where I live. Obviously especially when my neighbors are home. My connection is always fine on 5GHz though. I realize the camera is only like $25 but without a reliable 5 GHz connection there’s no way I’d ever be able to use it.
We're sorry to hear about this trouble! I'll add your request to our tracker but we wouldn't be able to make this change without a hardware upgrade. That may happen someday but it's not in the plan yet.

I received my cameras today. I always have my son hook up everything for me. Well, I put on my big girl panties and watched your video and now I have my cameras working. I even set my notifications. I will be ordering two more cameras. Thank you so much.
I downloaded the app I did everything that I needed to do I got so far and then the camera said they could not connect to my service so I have tried calling the troubleshooting line and this is my third day trying to call you say that you're there waiting to answer calls and I have been calling for 3 days at different times and no one will answer the phone they say they're there from 8 to 4 but I keep getting no answer so what's up with that

I was a little dense with the setup! David at Wyze was super helpful. Had me up and operational in 3 minutes! Hold time was less than the time with David. Nothing but praise for their support!
I just ordered my Wyze cam....If I like it I will definitely order more for my home. Can the adhesive stick on be removed from the wall without damaging the wall surface? Thanks for the video damaging the wall
got the wyzecam 2 today. set up was straightforward love that I can put an SD card in it. for what i paid i was expecting way less so yeah make a proper doorbell and i will get it!

Wish the nightvision could see out windows ( I know why but.. boo) as I want to point out at my garage. I do hope you'll have a desktop, or at least a way to view the cloud footage online, someday. But live stream to the web would be cool (like a Twitch-compatible device).

I was all set to try wyze but I couldn't buy the memory service and the camera at the same time. The website wants me to buy the service first and then come back after I receive a $19.00 coupon and by the quantities limited camera to use the non refundable service on. It just seemed like there could be problems with that I I didn't order. Sad too because I was really looking to try it.
I purchased 4 Wyze Cams over the past several months. In that time, one of the cameras lost its IR capability and none of their mic talk functions ever worked. When I contacted support for the IR issue, it took a week for support to respond and then only to tell me what I needed to do to troubleshoot their problem camera....and it was a lot of crap to go through just to troubleshoot something that should have worked longer than a few weeks. I didn't feel that I should have to deal with that so I asked for a swap of a new camera, but again, I would have to jump through hoops to make that happen. I make decent money as a business analyst and considering the time and effort it would take me to fulfill that request, along with the cheap price of the camera, it wasn't a cost effective swap for me. There were other issues such as frequent audio blanks in addition to obvious omissions of things the cameras should have recorded like deliveries being made at my front door. In my opinion they rolled out this product before vetting all of the basic functionality which would explain why many many other Wyze Cam owners are having the same issues. The upside to this product is the function over cost. I consider these disposable products and do not recommend them in critical areas as it isn't a reliable product...short or long term. Spend more money for a reliable product and peace of mind....
Am I the only one who tried to use the camera on my phone to scan the QR code on the bottom of the camera? Seriously, it took me 15 minutes to realize the camera scans the code on the phone! Anyone else? Or am I really just that dumb?
No you are not. I kept scanning the code on the bottom and watched the video several times until I noticed that he wasn't turning the phone over. I put a big L ( loser) on my forehead. LOL.
Struggled with connecting my camera as the cord sent with it didn't work. Once I connected to a different cord I had no issues. The camera works beautifully. Probably one of my best purchases.
@@wyze I did not. I figured I had plenty of power cords lying around I didn't need to hassle you for another. Just figured it could be something to be double checked in the future. I bought a second unit, so all is well.
Yes, you can! One of our customers is currently in Japan and he sent us a note telling us how excited he was to be able to watch his cats while he was away. ☺

How many cameras can you have an can you toggle back and forth between all? I do want to get a couple of them so I'll call your support line thanks Dave!!
Laura, I'm not Dave but I can tell you that we did not put an upper limit on the number of WyzeCams you can connect to! And you can toggle between all of them in the Devices tab.
Unfortunately, the only way I know of to make that work is to use an Android emulator. We don't have a desktop version yet though we are looking into it for the future. :)
Excellent video, it was perfect. Over 100 thumbs-down? What dummies, in 6 minutes you explained how to set-up the camera which is what you said you would do.
Seriously??? Why can't the device scan for available networks? Then choose it, enter the PW and go? Very cumbersome and amateurish. No more WYZE products in my future.
Just got mine. Easy to set up (even for a dummy like me). Neat that I can look into and listen to the space that the cam is installed into! Gonna by a few more today. Love these things!
Thanks for asking! For Wyze Cam v1's and v2's, the USB port on the back can be used to daisy chain Wyze Cams. However, Wyze Cam Pan's greater power requirements make that less feasible. We are investigating accessories to use with Wyze Cams that would use the port. :)
They aren't weatherproofed at all so we don't recommend using them outdoors. They also have an upper-limit of around 100 degrees F for temperature so it may be at risk in higher temperatures even without rain or humidity involved.
My wyze cam pan will not scan the code. I've tried over a dozen times, different angles, lighting, everything you can think of. I would hate to send it back. Please help. The process doesn't allow for troubleshooting or other options either.
I found it very easy to set up & was impressed with the way it worked--tried to install it a bit a ways from the modem but it wouldn't pick up the wifi--how far is the range on this gadget?
Can I use this camera to film videos of my YT channel? It would be a nice additional to have when i'm doing how to videos as well as daily vlogs at home. :) Oh by the way, this is awesome!
Thanks for the compliment! Manually recorded videos can be uploaded from your Album onto RU-vid! Though other cameras may admittedly be better suited for your posting needs depending on what they are. :)
Amy Hoang To film videos OF your RU-vid channel? WHY? To create content FOR your channel? Theoretically, you could, but with no way to start and stop a shot, no viewfinder to frame your shot and the ability to record at exactly half the frame rate of full motion video, nobody would want to watch it. As a home monitoring device, these are fantastic cameras but they are not at all suitable for creating channel content.

At 0:55 Is the other end of that white cable which you attached to the back of the cam plugged into a wall socket or is it to a computer usb under your desk ? And where and how would the "power supply" mentioned at 0:41 be attached?
The white cable was plugged into an outlet but I can personally attest to being able to use a computer to power your Wyze Cam! There are quite a few options for powering a Wyze Cam. You can even use a powered Wyze Cam to power a different Wyze Cam (that's why there's a USB Type A port on the back!). :)
I look forward to using it, I purchased the indoor one. But I am having difficulties on scanning with the cam to the Que R code. It just won’t take... pulse how do I find out whether I have a 2mgh or a 5 mgh ?
Nice little camera in the brief moment it worked. Picture was good, setup went according to plan, then I moved it to where it was to be located, and it won't connect. Have tried many locations, but it wont connect with the phone app. Then it quit recognizing the sd card, so I did as suggested and formatted that on the computer. Now I have no picture, so sd card recognition, it will not connect, and try as many times as I have to start over, it comes back to the same nothingness.

@@wyze iv got it all setup just sad I cant turn a light on if the camera has motion at night without one of the wyze bulbs. They are way to much to get in canada and cant use my wifi bulbs with it.
I found out about Wyze cams and love them so much I told everybody my family and everybody bought them! However, I noticed an extreme deterioration in the quality of the videos after about two years. And there is no more warranty after that!
