hey deltia, i had an idea to improve the the potion usage on console. its pretty simple: add numbers (in my opinion only 3 or maybe 4 are needed) to the potion wheel. these numbers would be shortcuts and if you equip a potion on 1 nothing will change, so you have to press d-pad up. if you equip a potion on 2, you have to press d-pad up twice etc. an improvement on potion usage is extremly needed on console cause if u want to change the equipped potion you have to hold d pad up wich instanly lets you stand still and you cant move or attack. i know you are no employe on zenimax but you simply reach way more people i ever could. it would be really cool if you could help out with this.
Deltia's Gaming you wanted comments, I give you comments :) I been following a lot of your videos, specially the class builds! So I had an idea of the concept of dps. But this video, basically summed it all up. Which I think is great, awesome! Sure does make things so much easier. 2 thumbs up man!!
Just found this video. Very useful. Would be nice if you did this for each Class, either stamina or magicka based. Would give us casual players some insight into best skills, appropriate rotations, and why.
I've been watching a lot of your videos and this one here explains a lot because I've been trying to set the best way to DPS and will be checking it out in a few. Dragonknight - High Elf - Vet 3 - Ebonheart
Turns out I was mostly doing it right. Thanks for doing this vid it did help me out a lot as I wasn't sure I was going about doing damage in eso the right way. Feeling much better about my build now.
I know you made a provisioning video but I just wanted to add that coldharbour is the best place to get ingredients and recipes because there is no stealing in coldharbour. Really saves time if you don't have to be worried about being caught stealing.
Thanks man. That gives me a better understanding of what I need to do to have more fun leveling my VR9 DK tank. Loose some health for now by enchanting armor with more with stamina, then build a back bar of two handed so I can actually kill a boss in less than 10 minutes. On the front bar, I can still keep my igneous shield and dragons blood to stay alive, heroic slash to build ultimate, chains or shield assault as a closer, and talons for a cc. Sound like a decent leveling plan? I think I could kick around questing like that and stay sturdy. You could probably title this video, "How to have more fun leveling your tank" and do some good for people.
Thank you! I fully enjoyed your clear explanation. It is easily understood no matter what class, weapon, or even game. Question. Due you ever use a normal attack? If so light or heavy? Due you use your stamina / magica right away or let it build up a bit? Thanks
Love it keep these vids coming. Maybe you could commentate the exact button presses when you press and WHEN you press them so we can understand timing better. This vid did help. Sucks I'm a DK.
Hi, just found this video and what Information you gave, thank You!!! Question: When you use your Skill Points) , do you go for the Passive first? Or do you go and do an alternative way, like 1 Skill Point for the Skill and then spend the next Skill Point is used for the Passive? Hope you can help me!!!! Have an Awesome Day, and looking forward to hearing from you!
What abilities should I have for a Tank? If there are only two taunts what are my other abilities going to be? I picked healing, but in another video you said to master one job well in group play.
Great video! One of your best! I know because I've viewed most of them. Do you go by Deltia because you were a 19D in the Army? Just asking because that was my MOS for 22 years. Thanks.
Is there a way to see status effects like buffs etc on ps4? Or highlight enemies? Or turn off magic visual effects? Or anything should have bought this one on pc. Good video lots of general helpful info.
Do you ever plan on doing character guides? Like Insert Race(. ), insert class (. ), use these skills at levels ( ?-?), show us where to grind or these places have good loot for levels (?-?). Etc. or would that ruin the fun for us?
Nick Kaibel I'm not incredibly experienced, but I'm pretty sure you just have to be more careful with stamina, since you have to use it to also block and dodge.
What do I say.. great video as always this will help a lot for me but I'm always a dps caster so I'd love to see how tanking is done (cause I'm thinking Sorc tank yes I know Dk is the best)
Rhyx36 Sorc-Tank is pretty nice. Sure DK Tank is the most wanted cause of Magma-Scale but our tank tryed it two days ago and it worked out pretty well in all three Hardmodes. (As Main-Tank, not Sec-Tank)
Bone shield is undaunted isn't it? Dark deal that healing spell that cost stam why streak if I may ask it seems good dps but I don't use that skill in general just because of cost
Thank you! I can now hang with the group in a fight without two shot dead. Pvp. I'm a dragon knight so I use the first 3 skill lines to keep my health up. Using destruct staff. With aura bomb. Always learning. Thanks!
Hey Deltia! I'm starting eso on xbone soon and while I wait I've been doing a crazy amount of research. I've been thinking of building a glass cannon zork, and want your advice with it. I guess a few questions I have would be: 1)do the toggle on/off skills only work when that weapon is out or does it work for both weapons? 2)is the dual sword exploit Sypher talked about worth it? 3)Can the Volatile Familiar's 20% max mana in damage ability be op if your mana is stacked? Here's what I'm thinking so far: Bar 1: Destruction Staff/Duel Wield (with exploit) Daedric Prey Crystal Frag Volatile Familiar Streak Mage's Wrath Dawnbreaker of Smiting Bar 2: Destruction Staff Bound Aegis Inner Light Power Surge Harness Magic Elemental Drain Energy Overload Mundos stone: The Mage Light Armor: Seducer 5 Magnus gift 2 Glyphs Armor: Max Mana Weapon: Absorb mana Jewlery: spell damage Traits Armor: Mundos stone effect Weapon: spell res, spell pen Vampire (I have a friend that's going to bite me)
meektheshy Q1: I'm pretty sure you have to toggle it agian for each bar, but if you have it on both bars I think it remains toggled. Q2: If you are talking about the spell power increase from dual swords, as far as I know it is still in the game, although I don't know if it is XBONE. Q3: I am not familiar, I can't answer that.
Universe3074 Thanks Universe, this is gonna change my set up a bit lol. As far as that 20% mana on death... It seems op... Idk I'm gonna experiment with it.
So been watching a lot of your stuff. I have a DK that I want to turn into a battlemage, heavy armor, tank/healer. My thoughts on this is it would take pressure off of the healer and I could keep tanks going. I am lost at what skills I should level up with it. Any help from you would be amazing!
Great video Deltia! This is perfect for me as I am new to DPS and MMO's in general. One question, is Ice Comet or Shooting star a better morph for Meteor?
Zenith Beats I think probably ice comet, since it has the reduced spped to enemies, but if you use a lot of cheaper ultimates, shooting star might be good.
+Deltia's Gaming hey man my names Gabe I was wondering when u said buff can that be something that heals yourself and I was also wondering what you meant by damage over time
I think DK kinda have a finisher..Molten Armaments - where ur heavy attacks are 40% strong and it even increase for low health...so if u do medium weave attack in between spammable it can produce really high damage.
Mick lama thats a skill concept not an actual skill in the game. as dk you have no class execute so if your stamina you may want to go with 2 hander for the execute for example. You just need to find a way to get one if possible but tbh its not really that big of a deal and for example dk magicka has no execute skill and definitely isn't hurting because of it
***** It is really strong if u medium weave inbetween really fast and get used to it..its hard at first but it can produce high end damage. killer's blade or radiant oppression is just easy to use compared to it though
Mick lama but the trick to use it not wait for whole animation for heavy attack. When u hold to charge heavy attack release immediately which is called "medium weave", in game it counts as heavy attack.. on low health enemy it can crit for 20k damage..not even kidding.
Hey Deltia nice vid but I have a question on which mundus stone I should use my build is basically like your Laceration build, which is the tits btw, but should I use the mage, atronach, or apprentice. I currently use atronach but the 5000+ spell pen from apprentice stone sounds pretty good as well. Thanks
Deltia, Im really confused because in your other video about bar swapping, you said that the first bar should be defensive and a second bar that should be offensive. And now you explain about a mixed first bar with offensive and defensive skills. So i don't know what to do now :') Please explain anyone or Deltia?
Richard T Depends on context and style. You can have a mix, this was just to show you a solid DPS bar setup to give you the power to character your own skill setups.
But it would be pretty cool to use my second bar so do you think it would still be a bad idea to use it? And should i just set it up the same style as my first bar cuz i really want to use a second bar. Thanks
Hey Deltia ZoS just announced in their quakecon stream a number of announcements including removal of the veteran rank system, and that CONTROLLER SUPPORT is coming to PC with all the goodie features of the console.
Ok you said the mage guild ult is the second on the list if so then what's the first? second how did you do that heavy attack that fast? Did you charge your heavy attack while the spear animation is on? Thank you in advance
I guess this guide is something for total newcomers. Structured Entropie can be used for 2% max Magika and 8% max Health if you rly need it and also have a free slot, but it's not worth using it active for the 20% more Spelldmg. You've got Pots for this. Spellpower or Detection ones, both work pretty well and for trials they are a MUST HAVE.
With the inner light skill do you have to use it to gain critical bonus or does it just have to be in your bar and level 21 I'm dps magic DK your videos help a lot deltia thankyou?
Im kind of new to the game and I just wanted to know, if have that dawnbreaker skill slotted on my back bar, will I still get its passive effect if I'm not using the back bar?
Do people use their weapons at all or is it better to just use spells all the time? I feel like my weapons aren't doing much damage. Also, does the weapon damage increase spell output?
what do you recommend for solo players bc I don't have any friends playing this game and don't tend to chat much. however if my guild ask for help I will were ever I can
Hi Deltia i am running a nightblade stamina billed, i have dual wield and bow on him. what do you think i should have on my bar to do good dps? thank you.
On your Templar build: The Shreddar how do you have so much health when I copied your exact build (except with imperial) I only had like half the health and stamina?
I was wondering I am a stamblabe duel weld build n I went through a lot of different set ups and nothing really has the right shine to it as far as dps is concerned. any tips on a bar setup ?
Brett D'Arensbourg The best front bar abilities for a stamblade are in my opinion- Crit- Beast Trap (Rearming trap) Or from the Shadow skill line Shadow Cloak but it's morphed version Shadowy Disguise. This will make you go invisible for a few seconds and guarantee a critical hit on your next attack (this option is better for boss fights since the Trap won't affect bosses and can't provide that critical buff unless it's summoning minions.) Another great thing is there's a passive in the shadow line that allows you to increase your physical and spell resistance when activating a shadow ability so long as you have 1 piece of heavy armor on and it increase the more heavy you wear. Buff/Debuff- Mark Target (Reaping Mark) or Grim focus (Relentless Focus) *[The added benefit of the mark target ability and it's morph is that when you finish off an enemy, it'll heal you massively.] DoT- Unfortunately there isn't a lot of options for a stamblade to apply DoT on its front bar unless you want to use Twin slashes (Rending Slashes) which is a move that loses its effectiveness the more enemies you have to fight but is great for bosses, with that being said you might consider a Bow for your back bar instead because of the insane amounts of DoT that it can provide. If you aren't considering being a Bow user then maybe swap out the DoT spot for some CC like Aspect of Terror (Mass Hysteria) which can help you stay alive in PvE during those tough 1v20 mob fights when you're solo. Spammable Attack- Surprise Attack (Ambush) is great because you can switch to a farther enemy and close distance if you become surrounded, and the morph grants you a 20% increase to the next attacks power so spamming this on a boss can really add up(don't forget to weave heavy or light attacks between) Execution- Two options for this but one is the clear cut winner, Whirlwind (Steel Tornado) is easily the best ability for spamming on mobs and has the best AoE range in the game. It is consider an execute because at certain intervals it will ramp up damage 100% (every 35% health I believe), the second option is more for solo bosses- Assassins Blade (Killers Blade) will do more damage to a solo target and heal you if it dies( this used to happen at 25% health but I believe they recently buffed this to start it's damage bonus at 50% health) Now the only reason why I prefer to run Steel Tornado over Killers blade is because when you put your Reapers mark onto a weak enemy in a mob or solo situation, when you kill it, it'll heal you for even more health than Killers blade can provide which helps with sustainability immensely. Plus you gotta be right next to an enemy to use Blade but the safety net that the range of Steel tornado provides is invaluable. Ultimate- Now Flawless Dawnbreaker is hands down one of the best ults in a dungeon full of Daedra or undead but with the most recent addition of weapon ultimates no one will argue that the current best Ult for any dual wield class will be Lacerate (Rend) it has a small hit box so make sure you are right in your targets face before applying it and always apply your buffs/debuffs before using your Ult. This thing will hit a group of enemies that are swarming you too, and it will hit hard! Not only is it the strongest bleed damage in the game, but it heals you for 50% of the damage it deals out. This is an insane amount of continual healing as it lasts over 20 seconds on the morph. Hope this helps you buddy and if you need any advice on your back bar setup just let me know, or if you wanna see a nice Magblade setup then check out Deltia's other build videos as he has some fantastic advice on how to make some very solid builds that even the top 20% use.
i have a kahjit stam nightblade and im lvl 20 right now. what combos should i use for dps'ing? Also i use a bow. im thinking about using the expert hunter for crit, momentum for damage, venom arrow as dot (yes i know i should have morphed it into poison injection). snipe for spamming ability, and killers blade for execute.
ItzShdw Its the valkyn skoria helmet and it is obtained from vet city of ash from the finial boss. Also need the shoulder to take advantage of its effect.
