Lets say i have 2 x yamaha DXR15" speakers and 2 x DXS15" subs. Should i connect my XLR cable from my mixer in to the sub or top speaker ?

@@umrebs23IMO you are correct, I was surprised to hear the presenter suggest go top to sub. Am I misunderstanding something?

Subwoofer connect to mixer into sub grup, or aux not stereo mix out

I’ve cranked up the subwoofer and it it still not loud and even when I have boosted it on my Yamaha mixing desk, any solutions on how to make it louder ?

Take the volume of subwoofer at maximal (+10db)

Go full volume. 12 o’clock on this sub isn’t near enough.
