I am in Japan for 5 weeks and I accidentally bought a bolt specifically made for an obi. Thank you for your video! I needed the help to figure out how to make a Nagoya Obi. Traditionally, you don’t cut the fabric, so I’m going to integrate that with your lesson.

i tried to watch this and this gave me more questions than answers and I've been sewing for over 15yrs. also part of the pattern is in cm and the other in inches?

A really thick one. Personally I like non-fusible. But you can use fusible if you like that better.
