This simple apron would be perfect for the chef, crafter, gardener or BBQ-er! The lining gives it a feel of quality and it can be made in any size you like, longer or shorter, with longer or shorter straps if needed.
Materials:
20" x 16" [51cm x 40cm] patterned fabric
20" x 16" [51cm x 40cm] plain fabric to line
10" x 16" [25cm x 40cm] pocket fabric
10" x 3" [25cm x 8cm] patterned fabric to trim the pocket
Two pieces of plain fabric each measuring 36" x 5" [92cm x 13cm] and one piece measuring 16" x 5" [25cm x 13cm] for the strap

It's just lovely .It reminds me of the old days like moms cooking for Big families, those days when everything was so much simpler and with no hurries. 💜💜💜💜

Love ❤️ the apron. Can you do an apron tutorial where the apron has a bib and the straps go over the shoulder? Please you give such good directions.

Very pretty apron! Love the green, it coordinates with my kitchen! Usually like a full coverage apron but your shorter one will do! TY for sharing.

Question, did you not backstitch the joints of the strap because you were sewing accross on the apron itself so that would reinforce it? I am a beginner, but this seems simple enough for me to do and continue to practice, I just ask the question because I noticed it but you did not mention it. I think I will make one for my kid who will love it.

Dear Debbie, I love this pattern as I love using aprons. I do have a question, however, do you have a version of this pattern with a bibbed top?
