It's so helpful to have such a clear and informative guide on the machine I actually use! I've always been nervous of button holes but this has really helped to lessen the button hole anxiety so thank you.
Thanks for this it's wonderful!! I've been sewing for a fair amount of years, but avoided buttonholes. I've just made my first alongside this video, you have made my day! Very clear, excellent teaching ❤
Hello, please can u tell me how to release the foot on this machine, also do u know can I used overcast foot on this machine if so which function I need to set to. Many thanks
The feet are “snap” on so just press the foot firmly down with your two index fingers. Yes. And overcast foot is great with the blind hem stitches 12 and 14. I made a video on blind hem using this machine .
I hate this machine. I had an old electric Singer and no trouble at all till it died of old age. I just cannot adjust the stitching and tension. Doesn't matter what number I set it on the stitches are small (and a nightmare to unpick). Is there an ideal tension/stitch setting for a plain cotton material? I hope I get an answer before I bin it.
I’m new to sewing and bought this machine in November last year. I have just started to use the button hole attachment for some baby dresses l made, what a nightmare, the left side hardly stitches no matter what l do to the screw, the right side sews ok’ish. Like you l have problems with the size of stitches too, I’m really thinking of selling it now for another model.
