How to Sew: Running Stitch | Hand Basting Tutorial | Sewing for Beginners 

This tutorial runs through how to sew the easiest of the sewing stitches by hand, and gives a couple of tips along the way. The running stitch is the best technique for sewing beginners to start with, before moving on to the backstitch and the whip stitch.
