that's silly. "social skills" is an abstraction created by the human mind..it's not a "disability or mental illness" to not conform to a cultures social habits. Just because someone wasn't programmed to act a certain way in a certain time in a certain culture doesn't mean they are retarded
I mean that if they have a 'disability', like autism, it is helpful to watch what is considered "right' aocial ettiquette, so social interactions are more smooth and they can get across what they want to get across.
I have notice that the people with learning disability seem to be much easier to approach than younger adults. And again it comes back to the newer generations that are afraid to touch someone. Us older people are much more in touch with this way of up bringing.

In this world if you go about acting like a total asshat you won't get much farther than a full time job at McDonald's or your local grocery store.
