This machine will ruin your blades. As a professional sharpener the machine I use costs 2500 dollars from the shop Inc. If you want to sharpen your own blades, the cheapest machine you can get away with is the treyco 2000. My advice is to find a sharpening professional you can trust our work is very affordable.
I agree, while I would like to find a faster, easier and cleaner way to sharpen, this one has not done the job. I use a Treyco machine and have yet to find any gimmick that works.
I really hate to complain, but I bought this item about 6 months ago and have not gotten one blade to sharpen like it should! Contact me if you want to buy it, I can't seem to use it!
