We have a similar model we got from my in-laws. It came without instructions and you just showed me how it's done and I thank you for that. It is amazing that a fairly low cost model does this well. Thanks again!

This video saved my life I was being too aggressive with the sharpener by moving the blade back too fast.

Thank you for this video, because I have the same exact model, and wasn't using it correctly, and after watching your vid, and doing it that way, I noticed a great difference. again thank you for your time doing this, especially for a dude that doesn't read instructions, LOL

I was wondering if you stropped the blade after sharpening? As other people have commented a before and after demonstration of the sharpness blade would have been nice. Great explanation of how to use the knife sharpener. 🔪

I have the two stage (210) model and I have been running the blades much faster than you are showing (if you use to much force the motor slows down) and have had good luck with it, I will definitely start doing it this way next time I use it, most of my wife's kitchen knifes are only beveled on one side (Japanese) so I'm worried that I will damage them, but on my pocket knifes even with tanto blades, the Chief's Choice Hybrid knife sharpener is the way to go...never going to use a stone again!

GREAT video. Very detailed. Just bought this used. I am glad I watched this video. The old owner clearly didn't know how to use it. $10.00 and a lesson on how not to use it. LOL

Just saying man you have to roll as you get to the tip or you will start to loose the rolled tip like you have on your chief knife .

I had to laugh. Six seconds per pull is a "tedious" process? Try sharpening a dull knife the conventional way. ;) But thanks for the video, very helpful!

Am I the only one who has noticed that brand new knives, on the lower range, are not sharp out of the box? Is this another example of lawyers putting a chill on a product. We can't sell a razor sharp knife. What if someone cuts a finger off and sues us.

On the directions it says you can sharped aerated knives. Primarily you use Stage 3 and only Stage 2 seldomly as you don’t want to take off too much metal. Never use Stage 1 👍
