How To Sharpen the Blade on a Mitre Trimmer / Guillotine - 2020 

It's a wonderful tool, recommended by David Savage, I've owned an APTC one for several years and sharpened the blades by hand a couple of times by hand fairly successfully, but I've been trying to think of a way to sharpen them repeatedly with a jig and your system beats every idea I've come up with to date. By the way, it is a tool to be treated with respect, my worst injury was being too complacent using my thumb on the offcut side to nudge the workpiece a fraction forward and pulling away too quickly which caught the blade...ouch!

I picked up a Lion at a yard sale for $10 and I’m in love with it. Thanks for posting this...Mine is pretty sharp but I’ll need to touch it up someday. It’s good to know your video is here when i need it.
