Tried this shaving pattern out tonight with my old Gillette Super Speed safety razor and it worked great! A bit faster than how I was doing it, too. Thanks for the tips!

You have good experience about which direction you should shave. That's good! PS! A real barber from a barbershop use straight razor or a straight razor shavette.

Good job will.. Way to incorporate men's products in to your skill.. I been a barber for over 20 years and some barbers just don't get it. I'm working on a product for men who are thinning in the front tapelines but still want that crispy steve Harvey look. I don't yet wanna dive in without getting all the paper work in order. Looking forward to launch next summer.. Good job

I got my friend whose black and struggled with razor bumps into shaving with a safety razor. Gave him my merkur 34c safety razor and persona blue blades but he now uses voskhod. He loves shaving now. He bought himself a Rockwell 6s.

Yo, The easiest way to get a super smooth shave is to first use an EXFOLIATOR,it removes all the dead skin around the base of the hair.This aloows the razor to get EXTREMELY close.Try it.The ladies always say my face is the smoooooothest they've felt.

If I walked into a barber shop for a shave and he pulled out a cartridge I would walk right out. At least use a foil if you don't want to or can't use a proper shavette. I'm also surprised that in a video that uses bump patrol products and is under the name/account for bump patrol that he demonstrates with a Gillette razor and not an actual bump patrol razor.

Main reason is because most people at home dont use a straight blade on themselves. Totally agree with you, no way I go to a barber using a cartridge.

Do not use a cartridge razor, you are better using a Double Edge Safety Razor as 1 blade is best.

Have you tried the Henson AL13. I am rather curious how well it works on Black men. I like it because it's engineered to pretty well not cut you but some people seem to need an aggressive rasor. Thing is, I am White and I don't have a course beard. Many White guys do shaving videos but far fewer Black people. Some Black people even burn their face with a "magic powder" that must be horrible on your skin. DE shaving does seem popular in India. Anyway the shave you gave this guy was still amazing.

For some strange reason,I use the new shave gel with menthol, and it doesn't lather up well at all. Any suggestions 🤔, plus I don't feel that cool sensation 😕, maybe I didn't leave it on long enough.

Andis T outliners zero gapped. Seabreeze to wipe face down after shaving or soap and water. wait about 10 minutes and put some bump patrol on. call it a day.

Chuong I know what you mean, when they told me I had to do it like that cause most people at home did it that way I cringed. A lady barber told me that she was good with 'straight razor' some of her clients were squeamish about her and the straight razor and asked her to use a saftey razor( go figure) I think they just wanted a womans touch. Anyway ast least I had one fan. I could have done it faster and better with my Straight Look for some news happening at Patrolgrooming.com
