I dunno if you'll see this comment because it looks liek you arent active anymore but thanks this video and the detail in it you provided iamaged to find a shiny blue shellos and a shiny Slowpoke with the same sandwich! This was very helpful my man. You deserve a lot of praise for this.
4 Sandwiches, no Shellos. Sandwich method is bad. There is almost never a situation where you can guarantee the volume of spawns with a sandwich that that you can with an outbreak. I came here hoping for a video showing an outbreak location for this and was sad to see yet another video about this awful method. Back to looking for someone who has a documented outbreak location where I can force one...
There is a lot of pokemon where you can guarantee the spawn with sandwiches but it’s not as good as outbreaks. Shellos is just a hard one as it’s a water type on a beach meaning the sandwich will spawn different Pokémon too
@@Kaymon Sandwiches also require a semi-expensive resource and have a limit to the length of time that the bonus to shiny odds lasts while outbreaks do not. Once you are able to get an outbreak, you can farm up to 60 shinies from it before you close the outbreak. This isn't time limited as you can just save and roll your clock back to 1AM on that day and preserve the outbreak. Outbreaks also force a high concentration of Pokemon into a small area and shiny hunting is an odds game, so the volume is important. I've hunted about 100 shinies across 63 different types of Pokemon and Shellos is the first one that I haven't been able to get an outbreak for despite doing everything in my power to get one.
@@zaelitude It’s a pain, but I managed to get one by changing the time (kinda). If it helps, you don’t actually have to change the time. Just open the menu where you select the new time and hit OK then back out of that menu. That registers as a time change and resets the outbreaks but is much faster.
