I am going to give this a try. I started a cupcake business and many of my customers live out of state. This video provided me with lots of good tips, thank you
@@ChristinaCakesIt thank you so much one of the best videos I see. .. 😍😍 I have a question in have to ship vanilla cake to florida but she want Chantilly how can I ship with messing the frosting
Thank you so much for the info! Do you freeze them first? Also what outside temperature would you recommend for using the ice pack method from your cake video?
Thank you for this video! If you bake muffins like blueberry or banana nut do you suggest the insulated bags and cooler packs as well whether it's hot or cold temps?
How do I prevent the post office from turning the package upside down? I've put "this side up" or "fragile" on packages only for the box to be wrecked upon arrive.
I thought that too until I found bake shop equipment stores where I could buy the PET plastic cake containers. They're less than a dollar for 10 pieces in my country. More online and boutique stores cater to home bakers and small businesses now.
Thank you, I appreciate it! These weren’t shipped frozen because it wasn’t super warm yet, but if you wanted to ship cupcakes in the heat I would recommend watching the “How to Ship a Cake” episode where I show how to package a cake shipped during August and the cupcakes could be packaged in the same way ❤️
Lots of good information and strategies in this video and your one on mailing whole cakes. I am wondering how you would recommend shipping mini skull cakes (see the Nordic Ware mini skull cake pans).
Thank you so much for the tips!! I've been tryna figure out how to ship cupcakes to a friend who lives 5 states away as a free sample for a business I'm starting so this really helps!!!
Where do you get your gladware boxes? Could you give a link to the ones you use, I think I found the ones but I want to make sure before I get them! Thank you!
Hi! This is the size I use: Ziploc Container Large Rectangle, 9 cup Containers - 2 ct by Framo USA Learn more: www.amazon.com/dp/B0000DIWQO/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_q5j-Eb735TMNV You can definitely find them cheaper on Amazon or at Target :)
Hi I'm planning to ship unfrosted eggless cup cakes but I'm worried about shell life of cupcakes as it will take 5 days to deliver. Luckily weather is not warm. Would it be fine if I follow your packaging approach in this case or please suggest any other ideas to ship the cupcakes without getting spoiled.
Hi! I haven’t shipped unfrosted cupcakes but what I would do is wrap each one individually in plastic wrap or press and seal, and then put in Tupperware. I think they’ll be okay, but I would worry they might be a little dry. Good luck! ❤️
Thank you! I used dog nail clippers (which are also used to cut wooden cake dowels and I only use for baking, I don’t even have a dog haha!) You can use scissors though, they’ll cut just fine ❤️
Hi! Would you believe they are dog toe nail clippers?? (I only use them for baking tasks, as they cut wire too- I don’t even have a dog haha). Scissors will work too :)
I'm about to ship cupcakes, but I'm worried about the warm weather. I have a foam cooler and ice packs I intend to use, but I'm wondering if it would also be a good idea to freeze the cupcakes before mailing? I know going right from frozen to room temp will cause condensation, but since they'll be in a cooler with ice packs, wouldn't that maybe be the same as thawing in the fridge, and hopefully prevent melting on the way? any insight would be appreciated
Hi! The weather is getting really warm to ship anything with buttercream without packing with precaution. My “How to Ship a Cake” video shows how to pack and ship during warmer months but I am a little concerned that USPS flat rate shipping is taking longer than the 2 days during COVID. I think UPS has an overnight option but I think it’s pricey!
Thank you very much for your response. Also could you please tell me what size are the ones you get in Amazon and also what size of box do you get from USPS? Great videos, I think I almost watched all your videos 💕
@@aler5164 For the glad ware she used a 9 cup rectangular and the box can be ordered from usps.com or picked up at the post office. The size of the USPS shipping box she used is a "large/flat rate" box.
