Really enjoyed going back to my roots on this. Huge thank you to Musicbed and Family of Things - it was an epic collaboration! What about this process surprised you? Did you enjoy this kind of BTS video?!
3:02 LIES ALL LIESSS! Lol jk I knew it was recorded multiple times but I never knew the first take was recorded and then played back to the band afterwards. Now that is cool!
I'm about to graduate from college focusing on video editing/production, been using Premiere for 4+ years, and this is the first time I've seen someone use the synchronize/multicamera feature. I don't know if that's just coincidence or luck (unluck even?) but I definitely learned something here, that'll definitely be useful.
Another banger! Thanks Lizzie! Also, you exposed yourself as a musician?!?! When will we get some Lizzie Fierce music content? I bet you play acoustic guitar and sing. Either way, thanks for sharing!
Thanks, great advice. I want to do a compilation video, singer songwriter original songs to use as sample to get gigs. Ihave 3 nikon d31,d32 cameras and may borrow another, zoom h6 and several mics, wish me luck.
Great video, really great workflow for Multicam! Do you have any recommendations for audio recording? I’m going to be recording live concerts and won’t have access to the soundboard. Was looking at a few Zoom H6s
This is so cool! It helps for my future. Behind the scene will be on my main channel, How I shoot and edit my music video will be on my second channel (filmmaking ch), post a music video, lyrics video, audio version in my music 3rd channel! I'm so CRAZYYY!!!! THANKS LIZZIE! 🥰
Amazing Lizzie! I wasn't looking for this but just realized how much I needed it...I am doing a multi-cam session for a band this week and never knew I could do that in the editing.
I've always done the Select clips> Create Multicam Sequence etc. Synching in the timeline and Nesting the Sequence seems much more efficient!! Thanks Lizzie!!
Loved the BTS video and the venue looks amazing. I have been doing photography for about 7 years and want to start learning video. Any recommendations on references to learn the basics of videography?
Holy shit, this is awesome, yo. Tons of valuable suggestions and as a drummer getting into photography and wanting to do more projects just like this, this is so motivating. Engineering IS THE MAGIC. Love that you got that in there. Love collabs like this that make art worth the shot. SUBBED! 💙🤘🏾
Ooooh this was dope! Loved the breakdown of working with different camera angles and seeing the bts of how you edit this type of shoot.....more pwease!! 😭🔥
That was really cool to see that type of video editing! I often have 3 camera's filming when I shoot my films. This could definitely speed up my process! Thanks for showing us this.
Thanks Lizzie! You're Amazing! This was much needed and super easy to get lost in while watching!!! I only wish you had more info on how the audio was captured.
Really cool to get a small glimpse of just how much equipment and how many people goes into recording something like this. Also I've almost never edited video but you made the cam-switching pretty easy to follow at the end. Now to check out this band on Spotify...
Great video Lizzie! I learned a lot from it. I'm just starting to get into video production after spending a lot of time as a stills photographer. Very cool and helpful.
I'm a complete noob when it comes to video, and I haven't even gotten good at putting a sequence together... so this nesting hack is definitely mind blowing lol. If I ever get to that level, this is gonna be soooo helpful! Love the edit, love the song! Hope to see some more of these types of videos in the future when given the opportunity! Thanks so much for all you do!
Started to follow your videos recently, and you couldn’t personally come with a better time to drop this banger. Loved the enthusiasm, rapid interviews segments and the editing tips. Much love
